Its a great news for the nation. But the only thing that shocked me a lot is that DW was reporting in Urdu and the president expressed himself in English. The channel had to translate what the president said to them. This kind of environment has a deep impact on the entire Pakistani society including me. Its roots lies in the colonial India. Probably the iterviewer asked questions in English. Later they translated the interview. As you can hear two different translator a female and male.

Great initiative. But mind it solar panels are looming problem of future. They don't degrade and are not recyclable. Threat larger than plastic waste.

Due to load shedding we have solar panels in presidency so that at least president shouldn't be affected with load shedding

Why cannt they remove the plastic bottles? these plastic bottles can be replaced by glass bottles and water can be purified. why on earth sit in a "green building" while using plastic bottles everywhere? why on earth? where is lifestyle shifting? they don't really change their own lifestyle just add things which resources can buy only.

@Abu yes one is easy to do by throwing few millions and other demanding to review the lifestyle. It's easy to throw money that presidential level but far more difficult to let go the plastic water bottles.
