(For context, I was in the United States Army in Air Defense Artillery) I got a safety brief form a Two Star General when I was on deployment saying “your unit is not to shoot down any Unidentified Ariel Phenomenas (UAP) like the ones that have been spotted off the coast of Ecuador and the East Coast”. We were shown the “tick tack” pictures, video and, what they looked like on radar. It’s not really new news.

I love the chat on the Mycorrhizal interactions between plants and fungi. The way I learned about it a few years ago is that they would be used as trade networks for nutrients between species. Out of parasitic, decomposing, and mycorrhizal types of fungi, the latter is by far the most interesting.

Something being "plausible" doesn't make it real. It's just another biased take against "the government" by a person who is trying to find reasons to allege whatever to suit their narrative. You could claim this about literally everything the government does. Oh no, Elvis died? Must have been assassinated by the US government as a cover-up to something else! Oh no, a tsunami in Mexico? Must have been an artificial seaquake caused by the US government to justify funds for humanitarian aid that they can embezzle and funnel into top secret weapons programs! Proof or it didn't happen. An Enlightened society can't act on biased, arbitrary assumptions about what *could* be reality.

@@alexshtyn6336 Venus and Mars experience tectonics but yea not plate tectonics. Jupiter's moon Europa is believed to have tectonic plates. But the physicality of our planet overall is quite rare I agree but not much of it is necessary at all for life, stable temps, water and an atmosphere that the planet can hold is all that's needed really. Even then Saturn's moon Titan with oceans of methane is capable of holding life.

I made a closed terrarium 3 years ago. I put soil, creek water, moss, rocks. Then I closed it and it’s been sitting beside my window and I haven’t touched it. Grass has taken over. The water evaporates then drips back down the side of the jar back into the soil. There was a worm and a spider that randomly appeared at one point but I think they died. It’s absolutely fascinating.

@@joedavid4545 it’s an animal and wildlife podcast primarily if you didn’t realize. If you’re here for absolute exact science on quantum entanglement being explained, you’re in the wrong place. Clearly if you can’t just lay back and relax and have fun with em like everyone else, this isn’t the podcast for you. They just talked about it because it’s a hot topic rn and it’s something fun to joke around and discuss. They didn’t do it to give a harvard level lecture about quantum mechanics and the hadron collider. You’re expecting way too much from a wildlife podcast. This isn’t what they normally talk about, it’s just for a fun discussion.

@@joedavid4545 This really isn’t an “educational podcast”. It’s one wildlife biologist, a TV producer and an editor just shooting the shit, drinking beers, playing games and talking about wildlife related topics 😂 If you’re coming here for education than you’re in the wrong place, even the wildlife expert doesn’t know what he’s talking about 10-20% of the time… Basically 95% of the podcast is just for fun and maybe 5% is actual wildlife news and education haha

I saw a thing ages ago about the corked terrariums where someone was trying to tell people to go out in the bush or forrest or desert or any ecosystem and take a small portion of it and seal it in a jar within and leave the jar where you filled it as a safety measure for earth and that if everyone did this around the world if an apocalypse happens these jars will survive and over time eventually break due to weathering and the ecosystem can return exactly what it had before it was destroyed or atleast restart the process from just the small jar of dense life. Tbh it sounds like a cool idea.
