karma yogi is not the same as karmi

Just wanted to expound on a few concepts that i think maybe of help in understanding this phenomena. Firstly, there is the Karmi and Karma Yogi. The difference between the two is that the karmi works for material benefits but with attachment to the fruits of of their activities whereas a karma yogi understands that the fruits are given by God, and he simply is engaged in the process of doing his duty as opposed to worrying about what he shall or shall not get. The karma yogi, although engaged in karma for material motives gradually transcends into inquiry about topics related to godhead and eventually comes on the spiritual path (hence its mixed spiritual and material). Whereas a Karmi is completely materially motivated and attached to the fruits of their labour. Bhakta Bhakta on the other hand naturally do their karma without any attachment, agitation or force. They might be a doctor, engineer, truck driver or sweeper however he/she does never over-indulges in karmic activities with a motive for acquiring more and more wealth but at the same time he/she never neglects his/her duty (You will notice that a lot of bhaktas naturally have a lot of wealth, this is because Krishna always provides them enough means for sustenance so that they can focus more on bhakti). You will be surprised but most bhaktas are working people 90% with brahmacharis and sanyasis being 10% or less of any congregation. Thus, He is a full-fledged karma yogi without particular effort however he does his karma so that he can focus his life on the cultivation of bhakti and hence although he does earn wealth in the world, his motive is only to use that wealth in service of the lord (this includes putting due effort in his profession with integrity) and also maintaining himself and his family etc. Karma yogi and Bhakta The difference between the Karma yogi and bhakta is that a bhakta engages in karma yoga but with bhakti as the foundation (complete surrender of the results of one's activities at the lotus feet of Sri Krishna) whereas a karma yogi is still engaged in karma with material motives at the very core. A Karma yogi might be more efficient than a karmi as he is not concerned about the results, but his motive is still mostly for some personal benefit (it maybe status, power or elevation to higher planets). A bhakta on the other hand although temporarily engaged in karma, Gyana or any processes (Sravanam, Kirtanam etc.) does it all only to please Krishna. So, to conclude even Karma yoga can only be completely spiritual if it is bereft of the motivation to acquire results for material prosperity and instead aimed at advancing one's bhakti or Krishna Consciousness.
