I've had really good results with the ones from Lowes. I use the rolls more for preventing soil runoff. I put seed down first then roll them out. Not sure why there's so many negative comments, most probably have not actually used them.

Hows is looking after three months? if it works as advertised, you should have significant amount of of grass, and by the end of summer it should be nearly filled in.

For me, 3 moths was a lot of growth, but very fine blades. The following spring was the true test, which yielded very thick healthy grass. Its a little spotty here and there, so I plan on overseeding.

I watched an "official" looking video on laying this product down, and it had a possibly exhausting preparation (for us old coots) of cleaning the ground and getting it close to a soil-only surface. You didn't appear to do that, and I applaud you for your success with less work. I'm 73 and I don't want to croak from laying grass. Will try your way 1st. Old is relative, folks. My computerized weighing system puts my body age at 78. Feels like 85. Hope my grass grows!

2.5 weeks with just well watered grass seed and that area would be much more filled in.

First you should of taken a few minutes to rake the dirt to flatten it and remove most of the stones. Poor results are because of poor preparation plane and simple.

u should of read or watch the instructions before you did that cus you're not suppose to put the dirt on top of it and plus its not suppose to be windy. when you sprinkle the water from beginning which it suppose to be on shower mode but yours werent that mode from beginning. i do not like watching your video cus u dont follow the simple instructions

Verrry Seedy work! In South, St Augustine does well and over time will fill in and choke out weeds. Goes dormant in winter, turns brown, but comes back in spring.

I rolled it out...got happy saw grass sprouting...it never got passed a few sprouts. Had to take it up which is a mess 😩😜

Mine came in quite full, but it took about 6 weeks for it a fully come in. However, the grass seems to grow faster than the other grass. It's noticeably higher than the rest of the lawn after a week.

Not everyone can be out there and take care of the grass seed the way it supposed to be taking care of example myself I am not fully mobile so I have been watering my grass mat for 4 days straight now and I'm already seeing Blades of grass. So yes so far mine is working and I'm very thankful for it period and I've not been paid by anyone by the way
