i also notice its extremely hard to wash product in my hair because it keeps sticking in my hair. it doesnt stick to my hair but i think my hair is really good at absorbing it so its so fucking hard to wash it out

@@rienn8559 i don’t think frizzy hair has anything to do with porosity. her hair is a little frizzy too. straight hair is never frizzy but if you have wavy, curly hair or more than it can get frizzy

So I heard that cold water should be the last one we rinse with after rinsing the last bit of shampoo or co wash out so that it can open the cuticle for the deep conditioner to get in. So is this true or it's ok to use the hot water or warm?

You would want to use warm water during your wash to open the cuticles and cold water at the very end to close your cuticles and seal in the moisture you just added

@@myhallyulife Ok so I thgt they said cold to open to prepare for your deep conditioners & hair products to get in after the wash. I like them to be open otherwise my products sit on top of my hair like hey😲🤦🏽so maybe I should do warm all the way through because I need it to stay open till after everything is added

@@myhallyulifethat's not how hair cuticles work especially low porosity it's hard for moisture yo get in and get out so as soon as that warm water opens your cuticle that's it your cuticle is full and just deep condition with a cap/heat andcap next that's all you don't need a cold water rinse because your cuticle seals as soon as the water is in it .

No, I have high porosity hair and it sucks up water and moisturizers in two seconds.. my hair dries fast too… that’s why I have to keep it moisturized with heavy creams and keep a spray bottle on me like every day or two

This doesn’t look low porosity to me. After it’s wet it begins to dry fast . It also looked like it absorbed water right away in the beginning

That doesn’t make sense. …. Absorbing water means the cuticle is open and allowing water to get in .. Low porosity hair doesn’t absorb that easily. It got wet easily and then dried . It’s high porosity with products on it .. but she knows her hair better than I do 🤷🏽‍♀️ lol
