No, you do not have a problem. Just get some really nice and waterproof storage bins to put them in. Then rotate out your puzzles based on what works for you. I do mine according to seasons and holidays. This is mostly because of a stupid issue of me not being able to do summer puzzles during winter or not being able to do holiday puzzles unless I am doing them during the month the holiday is in. I know it is stupid and to get panic attacks and so upset if not done that way. It is absolutely ridiculous!! But it does allow for me to have a nice rotation. So that despite having a couple 100 puzzles I am able to do all of them! Even the new ones I seem to get every few months!

I’ve got a pomegranate art piece puzzle and it wasn’t my favorite…very similar color tones. It’s Fredric, Lord Leighton Captive Andromache. I tried to sort by color as it should’ve had blues, greens, black, white, pink…and it felt like a sea of beiges. I did complete it, but it did not stay in my keep pile. I also have that charley Harper bird one. Much more enjoyable. My friends kids did it too.

Well you certainly have a big pile of jigsaws to do and a good variety too. It's quite difficult to resist buying more jigsaw puzzles. 🙂 I find that I have over 6o puzzles to do albeit some are still in the post. I don't keep many, just special ones plus my Wentworth wooden ones. The rest all go to a jigsaw exchange held at my local church hall. I don't have the space to keep all the jigsaws I do. I keep a list of puzzles that I have done so that I don't buy one I have already done.

I have 2 Liberty Puzzles; one small and a larger one that some pieces turn into a 3D birdhouse! I love Charlie Harper, too. I have Beguiled by the Wild. I was actually sad that I finished the puzzle so fast out of sheer enjoyment. I plan to build it again. Pomegranate has high quality pieces, but they may have changed the piece thickness, as their Cakes & Pies is thicker than Ravensburger...but then other puzzles (most likely newer ones) are not.

Hi, A couple of questions: 1- How much time does it take you to complete a 1000 piece puzzle? 2- Do you keep puzzles to do them again? If so, how often do you do it? PS The Pokémon one is really cool...but I prefer it with less pieces. I don´t remember but I know it is also sold as 1000 or 500. PS1 Check out the puzzle titled THE GARDEN OF EARTHLY DELIGHTS. It´s available as a 9000 and as a 2000. Maybe a 1000 too.
@puzzlephile
@puzzlephile Жыл бұрын
Ok, I’m going to respond in reverse order because I can’t BELIEVE you just brought up Garden of Earthly Delights! Just a couple weeks ago I was THIS CLOSE to buying Educa’s 9000, but then I read some reviews of it and apparently the image is fuzzy which does not sound fun in a 9000-piece! I would like to do the 2000 piece size though at some point The Pokemon 5000 is definitely happening soon - stay tuned! I do keep my favorites, but I wouldn’t usually want to revisit a puzzle until at least a year has passed. I need enough time to pass to forget everything about it And as for time, it’s hard to say. I’m not fast and I don’t really try to be. I don’t usually time myself, although I’ve started doing it for my videos. And it definitely depends on the puzzle. I would say I expect to spend 5-8 hours on a typical 1000 piece. How about you?
@justicierodelaliga
@justicierodelaliga Жыл бұрын
@@puzzlephile I haven´t timed myself either. But it takes me an evening till the night. Next time I´ll do keep time. As for the Garden of Earthly Delights they do sell it in a 2000 piece puzzle. As such, I´m sure the image won´t be blurry.

Too much of anything (no matter if you live it or not) is when you have things you can not care of. Can you organize, clean, maintain and use what you have? So, it is ok. My husband is an RPG/board game player, I have to always tell him that. He had a game he got from his grandpa, he put in the cabinet and let it there. Resulr: it got destroyed. I told him how having things we do not care is the same as allow these things to be destroyed. Now he maintain his collection under more control.
