I felt this on a personal level. Its definitely a hard thing to come to terms with, not having a biological child. Our situations are completely different, but I feel you on a deeper level here because I too (possibly) cannot have a biological child of my own due to some medical reasons. But that doesn't mean we can't be a parent...there are kids out here that I would bet you...would die to have a dad like you. When one door closes? Look for another. Or even a window big enough to climb through. The way I see life is like this...we get dealt the cards and we play them how we see fit...do we always win? Your a great person ! This though hit! I had a hysterectomy but I already had kids so I didn't have mine cause I didn't want more kids I had it cause it needed to be done! But sonny you will one day have a great family and kids you can call your own

I am about to have a hysto too and I am also grieving not being able to have bio kids but with everything going on in the world, I feel like this is the best thing for me to do so I can live my life and I also don’t want to live in fear either, ya know?
