The publishers clearly built a bad reputation, generally having a publisher behind you only means that they will have control over what you created and that it will no longer belong to you. im working on learning making games for a year now, im getting all logics right, i got story and gameplay ready. I JUST HAVE ONE FREAKING PROBLEM, i suck at optimizing levels. heres what i do to increase optimization: 1. I am finally using vegetation from other UE marketplace free maps, that is more optimized compared to megascans 2. scaling down resolution and polycount of S.meshes but it still lags pretty bad. how can i optimize games like ubisoft does in farcry where everything is fine to its details and it still runs smooth as hell. could you give any advice on that? I havent used blender to resize any models yet though (im yet new to blender and dont know the workflow thats why), can that be the solution i really dont know.
