At present almost all brands produce consumer led bulb having 6500k and 100 lumen per watt specification.

In your opinion, can we build a DIY light fixture in india? Now a days we get for example Philips LED bulbs (23 watts) with rating of 6500°kelvin and Lumens of 2000. So can we use two such bulbs for a 100 litre aquarium? Also can you please tell us about how height of light with respect to aquarium bottom is supposed to be adjusted? I hope Dr unnikrishnan would help out with answers.
