Yay it’s the only one for sure I trust . I am kind of knew 2 years probably stacking … don’t know of many other sites to trust and look at but hope u see my comment on ebay ? I think it can be risky because it’s random people right selling 🤷‍♀️ at least some times … so I did do two transactions and I perceived right … but curious on your thoughts of ebay… if your lead to share that in a future video or comment :) also for me I am going to take advantage of the dips and buy silver and gold I think it’s a open door for newbies to get into precious metals…

Nothing made in China is worth its own value. Everything they produce is fake, cheap knockoff made from stolen American technology. The only Chinese made products I own are my phone, my cheapass gym shoes and my toilet brush. Buy American made if you want to keep America!

I have never brought Silver from any those sites that you mentioned. I like the major online dealers like SD, JM, and Ampex. You can’t put a price on peace of mind. Thanks for updating fellow stackers.

JM is where I usually go. Wanted to get some Perth 1oz bars, and actually FB messaged Perth Mint asking if JM was cool. They got back to me and gave the thumbs up. 1 oz peace of mind and checking out legitimacy is saving you from a kilo of bad feels

Great advice! I haven't heard of several of these companies, but it is great that you are warning people on who to avoid. I nearly got scammed by a Facebook seller very early in my silver buying days when they were selling silver bars for less than spot - huge hint that it is not 999 silver throughout!

Never buy silver at a "Antique" shop. I asked what the spot price was and she told me they don't use the spot price. I asked how they did and she told me that they charged a flat 10% premium over their cost. I asked her what if they bought the batch that was for sale at a very high time in the market. No answer from them!!!!!!

@@NewSilverStacker I used to be more of a collector than stacker. Was a huge fan of Morgans. Sold off collections and only stack bars/rounds and sovereigns since 2016. Sold off all my early dated Eagles to a coin shop in 2011/2012 when the price spiked up to near $50. Up until just recently I was still getting decent deals from reputable dealers on Ebay. Even Apmex had deals better than their site. Boullion Exchange, etc. but I an seeing more and more plated crap showing up. I know what to look for but what you and other channels are providing is a very important service for the new generation of stackers in a digital age and online purchases.

@@NewSilverStacker I'm sure you know this but at the time I was new to collecting silver and I saw an ad for a Silver Eagle for like 9 bucks. It took me 3 months to get it and when I got it it looked like the real deal until I weighed it. It was 27 grams and it was fake. It was from China. I'm glad I only lost 9 bucks but I would have never bought it in the first place had I known it was coming from China. Some of these sellers don't mention where they are coming from

Relatively new to stacking and was a bit iffy about buying, especially online. However after a bit of research I decided to mainly go for Britannia's and Canadian Maples as they seem to have the strongest security features? I'm in Europe so Britannia's are common and for some reason the Maple's are too, but I steered clear of the Austrian Philharmonic because as far as I'm aware they have no security features. I picked up a few Eagles too for a decent price (about $30?) but the "fin missing" security aspect is a bit weak IMO.

I only buy from SD bullion now, I used to buy from Money Metals but they start charging a credit card processing fee. My last order for $130.00 went up to $137.00. SD Bullion does not do this (yet) Subscribed 😁

I’ve bought all my metals from SD, including a new precious metals IRA I just opened. They’re easy to work, give a discount for wire transfers, and while they don’t have the lowest price on EVERYTHING, they seem to have the lowest prices on ALMOST everything.

Very true. I've looked around at etsy. There were some nice looking poured silver pieces, but that's not for silver stacking. For the silver stacking pieces everything was either so cheap it was obviously fake, or so expensive I could easily by it cheaper elsewhere.

Man , I got F'd by my LCS. You have to be very careful. I only buy my Bullion from legit dealers now. SD, Monument, JM and the likes. I know we're all looking for best price per oz. but piece of mind is worth so much. No testing required from the Top Bullion co. Great info NSS. Love the video.

Very true! I'd rather pay a tad extra to know I'm getting top qaulity real silver. I have a 1996 eagle I got from my lcs. The ping sounds way off tho. I need to go get it tested. I heard that eagles have a couple different pings tho. But we will find out soon.

Be careful purchasing silver at local flea markets…..I got scammed for 2 silver bars that were in capsules. I was so excited to get an assortment of “real” vintage silver that I did not think or suspect the weight of these very shiny bars would be about 3 grams short, obvious fakes confirmed by my local dealer with a specific gravity device. Keep up the great work educating us stackers!!

My Son and I run a coin shop out of a Flea Market. We test ALL of our items both on the buy and sell side with the Sigma Metalytics Precious Metals Verifier, scale, coin pinger, magnet, and micrometer (maybe not all at the same time, but still). We do this in front of our customers, explain the methods we use and how we can verify that the silver and gold we have is as represented, and also make sure that we don't purchase something across the counter that is fake. There is ALOT of it, and we keep a pile of fakes in the sigma bag to demonstrate how easy it is to pass off a fake. Come visit us if you're in Myrtle Beach, we would love to show you too!!!

Super good video. Why? Truth be told, the information you gave is out there, but as a new investor, it takes a long time to collect that info on your own. Not to be overlooked, if you are actively buying, and incurring the cost, and lost of time to learn these valuable lessons. This video is invaluable. Lastly, as a stacker it is always encouraging to hear other Silver Bricklayers preaching the good news of a true metal mason. To much? I am trying to inject some new nomenclature into the stacker thinkspace. Keeping it real. I.e. fun. If not, real, fun!
