Watts your style is so unique man, I love this. That purse scene though 🤣 Great video and great points. Personally I've held off because of price, and storage design. My XM3's have it beat in that department thus I see no need to switch at the moment.

Yea the retail price, it not having an on/off switch, and no 3.5mm kept me away, I only bought them cause they went on sale lol. The current $449 price is the lowest since the $429 price in 2021. Also, thank you!

I really appreciate your review. It’s very well rounded. I bought the APM about a week ago. I have the AirPods Pro 2 as well. My ears are really small and the Pros get uncomfortable after a while (even with the XS tips). APM are perfect for my casual use at home.

I edit in Premiere Pro, haven't touched DaVinci. It's kinda backwards but I do my colors in Photoshop and import it into Premiere. I don't think there is any halation in this video?

I subbed your channel after watching this video. You're a straight shooter, and I like that you don't hem and haw just to hear the sound of your own voice. Reviewers like Mark Ellis and Mike O'Brien seem a little full of themselves, and don't understand what the average consumer is concerned about. My proof of that is that after watching multiple videos of theirs, I still don't know which to buy. You appealed to me because I have $500 to blow ONCE. I am not going to own three different pairs of cans, so I wanna know what the cons are, and in depth. You weren't afraid to do that. Thanks.

Yep, it has sleeves. I bought it from Bullstrap. Maybe had it for 2 years now? Card sleeves haven’t loosened which surprised me. bullstrap.co/collections/iphone-cases

As someone who just bought the Sony XM4s, I’m kinda glad I didn’t get these, but I did use my sisters and I wasn’t mad at them especially using them with apple products.

I agree on the gym stuff, they make my ears very warm with normal use which makes sense considering its sealed design, i can imagine working out with that

2:36 LMAO - Yeah I ended up buying a 3rd party case that has magents built in. I'm been steeing the battery drain pretty bad on these headphones. I typically just wear the XM5s most of the time.

Bro. This se ur lightning to usb c cable and it works. Like a dream It works on the iPad and iPad mini but not the iMac. Use the £40 cable

I’m interesting in your AirPods Max accessories and i have a few questions. Is the AirPods Max confort reduced by putting the silicon headband Cover for long time of use ? Does the confort change with the Headband Cover Compatible for Apple AirPods Max ? Or nothing change ? Can the Headband Cover prevent discolouration or damage to the soft mash of the headband ? or on the country as time went by can it create a damage to the headband ? Do you advise me all the accessories you shown in your video ? Especially if I’m considering to use the AMP for travelling, for this porpose i also want to buy another travelling case

over time I didn't find the silicon ear cover or headbands to be uncomfortable. The flex of the headband isn't affected. If anything that's the silicone cover I would get the most. The headphones feel nicer without the silicone ear cover but it's not a deal breaker since the covers are soft. Overall, the silicone covers aren't uncomfortable. They aren't hard. They are soft and flexible. I don't have any discoloration or damage on mine and I have been using them since I bought it. Again, this is soft silicone on the earpads and headband so if something sharp slides across your headphone it will still puncture it. Yep, I always advise what I buy unless stated otherwise. These covers make it very easy to clean with disinfectant wipes. For the outside facing part of the earcup you could opt for a clear case cover that protects it from scratches but shows the color style you purchased.

@@visionarywatts I agree with you. do you think I have to buy all of these things, even if I do apple care ? Because in that case I may change my AMP when they will break with apple care. My only concern is if Apple Store only changes the AMP if the battery is lower than 80% or they have serious physical damages and not only simple scratches, that may be avoided with all the protections that you advise me. Do you think I have to do both? Buying the cover and protections for the AMP and buying apple care in order to be completely safe. Did you do apple care for your AMP?

To comment on your point about using them at the gym. I used them at the gym on a regular basis for roughly a year. It wasn't until recently that I noticed they would not connect to my phone. Tried resetting them, and they would not reset, and took them to Genius Bar to get them shipped off to be looked at. Not only was the battery bad, but there was other hardware issues inside due to water damage. Save the $300 to repair them, and don't wear them to the gym when you know you are going to be sweating your balls off

I see people complaining about the band mesh being weak after a lot of use I know you can take the cans off but don’t see anyone selling them so whats you’re opinion about that 🤷‍♂️

I can see that being an issue and I wondered that myself but I can't give you experience with it because I've been using a silicon cover since day 1 that protects the band from my oily head lol.

Ive gone through 2 pair because of popping and crackling noises when using Spotify. I've noticed when I use Apple Music there are no issues.

You need to edit the audio options in spotify. I can't remember what they were but, I read after people made those changes, they experienced no issues, but even still the music quality is much higher on Apple Music

Good review. Yeah I just bought the airpods max, have had them for about a week. I also have the airpods pro 2. They are close, but the max has a nicer feel of the audio, more complex, I can hear more sounds. It's also a bit more comfortable. But it's hard -- like it looks more normal for me to walk around with the airpods pro 2 than the airpods max out in public. So I've been sticking to just using the max at my desk and at home when I'm by myself. I might return them, because I see that the max generation 2 might come out soon. My major issue with the airpods pro max is, yeah the condensation. I'm not working out with these, but my ears do sweat. Everytime I take them off, whether it's 20 mins or an hour, my ears are sweating. It's not great, I'm not sure if it's a combination of them being too tight, or that the material just generates more sweat. Still thinking about the return.

The cups are made of thick dense yet soft fiber, its like wearing earmuffs in normal weather, i live in AZ with the ac set to 77° and i dont have that much sweat

I like the airpods max, but after nearly 3 years they were defect, they would not connect any more, it seemed that the bluetooth was defect so they didn't connect and they didn't even reset to factory default, repair was more than half the price of new ones, so I purchased some new ones because I use them about 7 hours every day. I even use my aripods max with playstation 5 with the official cable

I feel the Sony xms just better value for most people. Apple pricing is expected but for this much money spent there seem to be a lot of caveats in owning it.

Most likely. Just like with the AirPods and believe the pros too if you hear static you can replace them at the Apple Store free of charge but only if they find something wrong with them😴 we have to start saying something too we pay a lot for the products we should be able to upgrade without a chunk of fee
