Quetzalcoatlus really are cool! I thought I'd mention for anybody unaware and curious: they were a type a pterosaur, which were flying reptiles, not birds, or dinosaurs for that matter. I can absolutely understand why somebody would mistake them for birds, however, as they do look very bird-like. It's ultimately unimportant, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it for anybody interested.

The blood they squirt out of their eyes is actually meant to go for a predator's eyes when they're being attacked, so they can blind the predator and escape. But that's not even the the worst tactic used for defense, The animal with the most terrifying defense tactic (in my opinion) is the Wolverine Frog. They're known to break their on arms and shove the bones through their skin to use as weapons, hence the name "Wolverine"

Funny story, I remember having one of those costumes which were a plastic mask and plastic smock/overall type body portion for Halloween in 1990 (mine was a pound puppy for anyone who remembers those). Those costumes were definitely as freaky as the one here looks

The horned lizard can ramp up the pressure inside its eyes by squeezing the muscles around them until some blood vessels pop and it literally squirts a stream of blood. They do this to get a moment's confusion out of a predator so they'll get a chance to escape, as 1) seeing something come at you is genenerally not a good thing in the animal kingdom so the predator will probably back off for a moment, and 2) the blood apparently tastes foul, so it's basically sayind "Yeah, this is what I taste like. You still wanna eat me?"
