To the second one i can onlysay that trying to be nifty on a civilization, where people apparently are able to break what ones own civilization perceives as absolute laws (ESPECIALLY space, time or gravity related) would be idiotic at best and suicidal at worst. Those guys wouldn't even survive the first try of doing that in realitiy

Honestly, the first story reminds me of the aftermath of XCOM 2. We liberated our planet from alien occupation and sent the invaders packing! Oh, but what about the remaining aliens now stranded on Earth and surrendering? Let’s have them rebuild the damage they caused and integrate them into our society!
