Great video! Tip I saw on reddit was if you don't want to waste any experience at all, stop the King Metals after 48+. If you fuse after that and you get a 2x boost then it would give you more experience than you need for the level 60 cap, thus wasting some experience.

a very informative video. great job, man. i have a question with 7 star units. i have been looking around and learned that only 5 star base units have 7 star upgrades. is it true that only rainbow units get upgraded to 7 stars? if i have a lot of gold units, say rikku, should i fuse them to get the trust mastery reward or save them for potential announcements for their 7 star upgrade?

Ah damn, I wasted a bunch I guess. I combined LB pots together no problem, there's a max level to them, but it works.

I just managed to not getting a single great success all the way to level 60 using this method. fml

I gotta say this has to be the best example of how poor the RNG rates are in this game. I can count on one hand the amount of times that a great success has popped up so far. The whole process is sooooo boring though. Thanks for this Claic, you the man!

I read this was the best way to do it, but since they ended the up rate of great/amazing enhancements after maintenance I said meh and just got a bunch to about level 30. I had over 250 king gigantars plenty more where that came from lulz

Great job on the video. As for the game though 7 star units are complete and utter BULLSHIT! TWO of the same 5 star base +3,000,000 gold gets you ONE 7 star. FOUR of the same 5 star base + a bunch of gold gets you ONE 7 star with SUPER T.M.R. Then to get said unit to max level you need to invest more than 20 times as much EXP as it took to get to level 100! I can NOT think of ANY way to gather that much EXP other than running cactar dunes constantly and constantly feeding lapis in order to have the energy to do so. I will NOT rage quit like many players but I can't help but call BULLSHIT on the whole 7 star system.

Can you please help me. My phone ran out of space for this so I decided to try nox but it still freezes at some point during the download, I need to know how to get nox to work better or if the freezes are just a thing that happens.

Did my cactuars one at a time yesterday. Got my 3/9.4 ready to go. I'm at a loss as to who to make my first max level 7*... I have Wilhelm, Orlandeau, and Queen. Queen ranks higher Orlandeau in JP since she can self finish but I hear her frame data is tough to max chain like with Aileen. So I don't know. ;-;

I find it easier to make max King metal minituar by fusing first one max metal gigantuar to start with 1.29M EXPup, after that like u show in the video. Needs less KMMs to max and if u farm from dunes u get more MGs than KMMs. And if u get great for 1.5x or amazing for 2.0x u get 1.935M or 2.58M EXPup. Don't really know if it is the best way...

What you don't mention when fusing cactuars one at a time: you are ultimately paying a LOT more Gil over time when doing this, because fusing into a high level unit costs a lot more than fusing something at level 1 (it's the same when fusing with any other unit, but the costs will be a lot more relevant when 7★ comes out). And when 7★ does come out, suddenly your Gil is going to shrink. A LOT. You think enhancements were huge Gil sinks? Try getting 7★ with just TWO units...
