Itching an itchy eye is like throwing more gas on the fire, and your eye will itch EVEN WORSE. Using a chilled Gua Sha tool or item from your fridge is a reasonable compromise to prevent more inflammation from rubbing or scratching.
Try a chilled tool over a frozen tool. The cooling effect of your fridge is enough. You don’t need to shock your skin by penetrating frozen, cold into your energy channels.
In milder to medium cases, itching comes and goes. So you just need to make it through the peak moment, and then it will calm down. You’ll have some relief time, and then the cycle of itching will start again later. But don’t be discouraged, you can just rinse and repeat this trick. Once the tress and flowers are done with their pollinating business, you’ll be back to normal.
