I feel like Byz might actually be a low key long feudal powerhouse. You can get your 25% bonus to gather rates in feudal, similar to how Japanese can get the full 40% farming bonus in feudal. Meaning if you can keep your enemy in feudal your advantage just grows over time.

18:45 I think he did pop triumph in the last fight, it's just that you get a supply point whenever you kill a unit, not just one per 30 second.

Abbasid is very strong late game, but Ayyubid is not so much. The camel lancers are great and all, but the eco lags far behind the Abbasid. Especially the trade, the +30% the Abbasid get in addition to the secondary resource trading means you can have 80 traders and 50 food villagers with no wood villagers giving you more pop space for army production. 80 traders and 50 food vills means 3.5k food/m, 3.5k gold/m, and 1.5k wood/m income. Trade alone can cover your whole siege needs, and that is a big deal especially on maps with limited wood.

+ Abbasid have way better farming because of the eco-wing upgrade.

Yeah I noticed that against Ayyubids their eco isn’t as rapidly explosive as the Abbasid, trying to get into Abbasids too as I love defensive civs

One thing i'd change on Expilatores, is make valid for all non mercenary cavalry. in many cases, horsemen are pretty useless because they need too many hits to kill a villager while he runs away and if there is a single spear around they will die without getting anything done.

Cataphracts with Expilatores? I think that's way too strong lol you can usually mass up way more horsemen than heavy cavalry this making them a great raiding unit, also they are way way faster than cataphracts so you hit vills and then run from spears making them pretty efective and annoying to deal with

Why did English continue to go all in with longbows when Byz was sending out armored cav units? No crossbows??

And even if they were in Castle Age, making Crossbowmen against an army where almost all units are Horsemen and Archers is a suicide.

Byzantines win rates change not because of the insignificant +50 stone. It's because Auyybids Gamba Wing have been destroyed. Auyybuds is one of the worst matchups against all other civs, including Byzantines. Also, Byzantines are not buffed, they are heavily nerfed, +50 stone is the only thing that is mentioned in the videos while they had huge nerfs overall.

Yep.. the English guy had done multiple suicide pushes, without network of castles and protection between buildings. He let the Byzantine guy win for free
