So many pitfalls and you need to pay a solicitor to research a lot of these aspects before you bid, assuming it's an auction.

If a council are selling the land would you assume they would give some sort of planning permission for some sort use ? seems abit dodgy if they're offloading it otherwise ?

Im not sure you can assume that and they're probably careful about appearing positively biased, so I would say take the land on its merits or otherwise.

#Scotland - remember that we have a comprehensive right to roam here, so take cognisance of this when considering land use - people don't have to stick to well worn and understood paths, so make it easy for them to pass through - without undue limitation! Many blow-ins in Scotland have thought to exclude the public and found themselves not very popular with either the locals or Scots Law!

Well it depends on it's planning status, multi millions if it's within the development boundary and has potential for positive planning application.

Like most things in this country then it’s been made impossible due to bureaucracy, there’s a reason why people are having American dreams at the moment it’s like they don’t want us to escape these prison cities

I am coming to the opinion that no-one should be able to 'own' land. The so called ownership of land is causing problems for millions or people throughout the world. I am in the UK and young people especially are struggling to find homes because of the price of land and houses built on it. In Cornwall people are having to leave where they were born because wealthy people and buinesses buy up cottages and convert them to holiday homes. London and other cities are so expensive that people in ordinary jobs cannot afford to live in large areas of the cities. It is purely driven by money and greed to the detriment of the poorer people. I don't think p eople should be able to buy second homes and foreigners buy land or property in the country until the housing crisis is resolved.

Your population increases by 900 every day. Open borders policy will kill your green country. More concrete to house immigrants haha. Soon 80 90 million, when you are old UK will have 100 million

If someone has worked hard and can afford a second home or any land they should be allowed to buy it, it's a free country. However I do agree with foreigners buying land, I think you should be a uk citizen, unless its for a business and them buying it and opening it will benefit citizens eg; jobs.

That's very devastating to endure. I extremely feel bad for people with lower income having this problem. So what part in UK do they relocate to that is more affordable without rich people buying them off.
