opening cases is literally gambling, you can often get decent / good looking skins for less than the price of a case from third party websites or even from selling your ingame drops on steam and then buying from the market

I’ve open my fair share of those, about 200 of them and made back more than 80 bucks of profit, I’ve tried the weapon case 3 which is the second to last case that has the worse ROI (Return On Investment) in the entire catalog of cases. The absolute worse is the Glove case. Just as a friendly tip, coming from a trader like myself

Cases are terrible if you’re going for profit. basically you have to be top 5% of lucky people to break even or make money. open cases for the enjoyment of the case and for a chance at a good skin you might not be able to afford. don’t open a case to make money otherwise you’re just throwing money away. what i did was 20 of each of the cheap cases simply to have all the blues and a good amount of purples from each collection and in the process i sometimes got pinks/reds/ golds. i’ve got a full load out where every gun has a decent skin and i haven’t bought anymore since. you CAN be more efficient by choosing the cheap factory news on the market instead of opening cases. for instance you can get a carbon fiber souvenir ssg factory new for 2.09. less than a key… and it’s a decent skin with some rare gold stickers. but i had the money to enjoy having the CHANCE at a rarer more expensive skin so i did it.
