You don't hold onto your Hellcat which continues to crash in value after Ford admits and recognizes a recall-worthy issue. Obviously, any Mustang you buy right now will have this fixed by the time it gets off the lot, or else Ford wouldn't have made a recall or acknowledged the issue. I don't think you should buy the first model of any new generation either though.

My 5.7 had the Hemi tick since day 1 and I still beat the shit out of it💪🏾, my boy’s Magnum R/T had 230k when he sold it and it’s still running around here. It’ll be aight and if it goes there’s plenty of crashed 392s getting parted out daily and complete motors/trans sold on Marketplace

You need to check your facts on the Dodge Charger hellcats and 392s fire risks. In 2017, over 1200 were recalled b/c of a fire risk. bad oil line.

Lol you just had a video telling everyone the mustang was a great deal a couple weeks ago. I rather the mustang than the stress of parking the challenger literally anywhere and worrying if it is going to be there when I come out or someone robbing me for it. I was happy to sell my hellcat for more than I paid for it during covid that was the positive thing lol. Also the takeovers are usually stolen dodge cars there is hardly mustangs there.

I did some more research on this recall on Ford's website that is actually honest enough to share them to prevent injuries. This only occurs to the models equipped with the 6-speed manual. Here's what the website said: A leaking clutch pressure line will not impact the volume of brake fluid in the brake system, so you will not observe an impact to brake function. However, this condition can impact the brake fluid supply in the clutch and can result in an inability to change gears. If leaked hydraulic fluid accumulates near a sufficiently hot surface, you may observe smoke and experience an under-hood fire. An under-hood fire increases the risk of injury.

This is being blown at a proportion. They have recalled 8000 units for inspection purposes. Apparently, on some units they did not install a metal bracket and a bolt that holds that bracket up against the firewall. It’s not a big deal. Owners can do their own inspection if they wish to see if they have, the bracket installed. We don’t even know if the one that caught fire had been tampered with or altered mechanically. Minimal information is being shared at the moment.
