That's a really good question! I've seen a couple people ask it, so I'll put my thoughts here.. The GOC Hub page says that the GOC operates 'under the aegis of the United Nations.' I've always assumed that this means the GOC operates with the authority of the UN, but is a somewhat separate organisation. That perspective is also supported by the fact that the GOC is takes its orders from the 'Council of 108,' a collection of different anomalous organisations, only some of which represent UN member nations. Whereas the UN itself is obviously run by the different governments of nations across Earth. Please let me know what you guys think. I'm a foreign politics nerd as well as an SCP fan, so this sort of thing really interests me, and I'd love to hear your takes!

@@SCPRealised I would like to say that the global occult coalition is just apart of the partnership between nations but the difference between them and the scp foundation is their approach to containing and or disposing of scps. Usually the occult coalition uses scps whereas the foundation is mainly trying to contain anomalies. Both work with the government very closely but seem to have very different positions .

Actually pretty simple, take any movie made ever, take all the spoken audio out (they have to go through this process when dubbing movies or shows anyway) and replace them with subtitles.

“Broken Masquerade” is the SCP term for one of the worst-case scenario situations: the general public now knows about the anomalous and it now knows about the Foundation. The Foundation will no longer be able to operate in secrecy, work in the shadows, or maintain normal daily operations. The general public will also react to it about as well as you’d expect it to react to a zero-accountability shadow organization nearly running their society. What is scary about this SCP is that it is a situation where all of humanity knows about the SCP and the Foundation, and threat is so massive and widespread that Foundation efforts are no longer to protect us without us knowing about it but to overtly change our lives for our survival.

Description: SCP-001 is an anomaly that describes many adult Caucasian females across the USA. They act like how “Karens” act. The only thing that makes them an anomaly is that the instances can duplicate at unknown intervals. The clone ends up in a random place in the world. They will enter a random store, and in the native language of the country, ask for some kind of assistance. If an SCP-001 instance is even slightly disturbed, the instance will telepathically persuade the manager to kick the customer out of the store. If an employee doesn’t fulfill her requests, the SCP-001 instance will say “I want to speak to the manager”, and the employee will pass out and wake up in a liminal space with moist carpets, yellow walls, and buzzing lights.
