What if I'm not hearing the pump "prime" ? Crank, no start w211 mb and it's reading -33.33mbar on my scanner? Where it says 017 Fuel Tank Pressure Difference (USA) and 1.33V Where it says 617 Fuel Tank Pressure Difference (ADC) (USA). I'm also recieving 12v to the connector harness when I have the rear Sam relay "jumpered" with a custom fused wire. And disconnect the connector harnessfrom the sender unit (driver side). Not sure of the voltage when the connector harness is plugged into the sender unit and NO jumper wire is connected (just the relay). The relay seems to work as I swapped it for another and both are able to actuate via scanner when I enter the actuation of the rear Sam. But even when actuated there is still a no prime situation.

thank you. i think my pump is out even though i put a new one last year. it randomly shut off whiles driving and is doing the same thing crank no start. it has fuel at rail but i think it does not have enough pressure so luckily i had a 3 year warranty on the fuel pump and sender and im gonna replace both again and hopefully that fixes it. because everything else checks out fine.

Reminds me that Soviet cosmonaut in the Armageddon movie, who fixed everything with a hummer :)

I've had the exact problem ... and it was NOT the Pump , only the pump's plug .... and I changed it ........ It was only an isolation on the plug wires ... I found a nearby used clean one , didn't even coast me 12 $ ....... mechanics and electrician may exploit you, if you are not awake !!!

please help me, i have w211 2003 e240 i have an issue that the car when reaches its normal running temperature stalls and dies then i need to start it again it starts then when i come to a stop i or after sometime of driving same issue then again i need to start the car again , sometimes it runs for 10-15 mins sometimes starts and dies i replaced the fuel pump still same issue
