I thought that the section of single track after Killer B was so difficult, it was nice to hear Syd voice that as well and to actually watch Macky and the other pros dismount to walk something justifies how absolutely wrecked I felt after that stage, but it also makes me want to go back next year to see if I can improve on my performance. You both killed it!

Every time I watch your races I am in awe what and how fast you can ride on your xc bikes. Truly amazing. Especially considering all the stress and fatigue you endure during those races. Love your channel! I would use the open run pros in black not only for listening to podcasts during my sacred saddle "me time", but also when using them on projects around the house. Shokz giveaway?! Yes, please! I'm a recent subscriber and love watching all your videos - especially on the trainer to learn proper MTB riding. I've been racing road & gravel for about 3 years and just got my first MTB to start racing that too. I'm active military and work at a fairly remote base, where commuting to work on long/remote military range roads is practically impossible without a MTB, so some Shokz earphones would be SUPER helpful to use while riding 2+ hours a day commuting. I would love to use them with plenty of other kinds of riding too, obviously. Black or blue would be nice, but I won't be picky about color if they're free! Anyway, you two are awesome and truly put out amazing content. I've learned so much from your videos. Keep it up!

I love give aways. Thanks. I would use the black OpenRun Pro Mini for more than just music. I have a few topics I want to discuss in videos. But it's easy to get side tracked on the trail. And I forget some of my points. With a good trail worthy headset. I could make an audio recording of my speaking topics and notes in advance. Then play and pause as needed while I ride and talk. A set of the OpenRun Pros in blue would go great with my teal mountain bike helmet and the white road bike helmet. They would also be nice in the gym while trying to get ready to hike a couple of 14ers this summer. Unfortunately they wont make it any easier to breathe up there when I live at 800ft.

I would love to have a standard black shoks. This is my first year racing XC and your videos have really helped me a lot. I can use these while riding indoors on my rollers. I currently use my wired earphones connected to my phone and I always end up hitting the wires making my phone come off and drop on the floor disrupting my workout. I would also like to try these out while on a race.

I would love the Open Run Pro standard in Black. I have been using music to pace my rides and I want to try it during races this year. It's a big psychological and tactical benefit if you can set up a playlist that can give you pacing cues (song beats per minute for cadence) and timing, like - if this song comes on I should be at x point in the race at that time.

I raced the Whiskey 50 proof this weekend and failed to make the 30mile checkpoint in time to finish. It tells me I need to work on my climbing. So, I will be spending all summer and fall climbing Mt. Lemmon in Tucson in an effort to go back next year and crush it! Shokz would be super helpful keeping my mind off the pain, while also allowing me to listen for crazy drivers on Mt. Lemmon hwy!!!

Very interested in the black openrun pros for while I am moving cases of wine(listening to podcasts) at work in the warehouse, riding my bike so as not to bother others, do trail work and still here the sweet sound of a McLeod/shovel slicing through the dirt or a chainsaw going through deadfall, and listening to something while the kids listen to Kidzbop or Trolls band together.

Omg am I so jealous! I love those trails. Utah is probably my favorite state to ride in. I never get to ride those trails, or any trails, with others so it’s kinda nice to hear, and see, that they are somewhat challenging trails to even well more advanced riders. If you ever get a chance, and want to ride in a place with amazing views, drive about an hour north and ride in desolation canyon up to the peak of mt Elliot. Anyways great job! You both are awesome!
