I work with radiation so when I saw high rad levels at 70 mSv at 13:44 I had to check it out. 1 Sievert (energy deposited per kilogram) is equal to 100 Rem (measure of dose received/biological damage caused by radiation). So, doing some quick maths on my hand with a pen, 70 mSv is equivalent to 7 Rem. 7 rem, as a dose received in 24 hours, would produce absolutely ZERO radiation sickness. If that was expressed as a dose rate, then remaining in the area for 24 hours would result in a dose of 168 Rem. So, if you stayed there for a full day straight, then yes, you could potentially experience radiation sickness. There is a chance you'd be completely fine, and you'd very likely make a full recovery either way. A lethal dose of radiation is something more akin to 400-600 Rem (something like 5-8 Sievert) within 24 hours. These guys were going to be FINE.
