I always make it a priority to show her how much she means to me and how much love I have for her. It's undeniable that our mother daughter bond is simply the best. So when he came home this past weekend I rented us a room for the night to get away and am having a nice bottle of tequila sent to him where he is stayin. I half agree with Sebas. It's more about the planning and the thought of (I know my person likes the holiday and I want to treat them). But knowing your person is so important as well. For me, it's not about dinner and flowers. It's about experiences. So if they planned a hike, just the two of us, in a spot we have been wanting to hit but haven't been able to. And it was just us chillin having a nice time. That's worth more than any monetary value item. But again it's about knowing your person, and maybe just doing something with each other you haven't done in a while. It's not always about grand gestures. Some of us don't like PDA (or maybe just me) lol
