My daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on 31st July as a result of many rounds of IVF and lots of failed attempts and heartache and tears, it was her final try! Lydia Martha 7lb 10 she is beautiful! She’s a miracle! ❤️💜❤️🕊️🙏🌎

I confess i was apprehensive about turning 69 this year. My mom died when she was 69, and i felt unprepared for the years to come. Hello Audrey, thank you for another amazing video. You look beautiful. 2023 is a bittersweet year for me and my family. We lost our younger son a few years ago at the tender age of 15 and our older son really struggled emotionally but with love and support he has grown into such a lovely strong young man of whom we are soo proud. So my favourite thing for 2023 so far has to be the excitement of seeing him happy and at peace and helping him plan his wedding which happens in December this year God willing and the bonus is that also gets his degree in Astro Physics. I'm a proud Mamma.... Remain blessed xxx

The best thing that has happened to me this year is that I decided to be myself style wise. I stopped chasing trends and stopped buying things that do not work for my body type. You helped me to do this, Audrey, along with Alyssa Beltempo who I learned about from your channel a year or so ago. It's been so freeing to buy what actually works for me. You've been preaching this for so long.....and it's true. Pearls fit this bill as well. Everyone can wear pearls to some degree. Not a trend at all. Timeless. Thanks Audrey.

Pearls are so classy! The greatest thing that happened to me this year was being able to resume lawn bowling after more than 3 1/2 years. I am 76 and now have two new hips and am back in the game. Such a fun game with wonderful people in San Jose, CA.

The graduation of my son, first diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 6, from college-Magna Cum Laude. He wants to work in education, helping special needs students. Throughout his childhood and well into young adulthood he and I were told all the things he couldn’t do, not what he could. So proud of him!

After retiring last year after 26 years at a global company, I am happy to be able to hit the gym almost daily, do some traveling and finally updating my kitchen and bath which have been passion projects for a long time. My all time special event was my husband reaching his one year post stem cell transplant anniversary on 12July. 2023.( Thank you all the Doctors and staff at John Hopkins University Hospital for all your great care)The transplant cells have taken and are at 100%. His blood counts continue to improve. We are both so grateful.

Visiting my brother in TN a few weeks ago has been the highlight of my year so far. He was diagnosed with dementia a few months ago, so I wanted to see him in person to see how he was doing. We ended up taking a road trip to see our niece, who had a pool table in her basement. My brother was once a pool shark, so when he saw that table, he came alive! He remembered his old pool tricks and even got to teach his grandnephews how to improve their game. To see him doing well was priceless to me!

I have been a long time yoga practitioner. This year, I have finally joined in-person yoga classes after an almost 3 year hiatus due to the pandemic. It felt so wonderful to practice with other like minded yoga enthusiasts and taking deep breaths together!

Hello beautiful Audrey, Thank you for this opportunity, To be honest this year has been one of the most difficult years of all, within 4 months my husband and I have lost 9 loved ones. The lost of my mother has been shattering but her love and life taught me to treasure life more than ever and to celebrate life because it's a beautiful gift from God. So I have to say the best thing that has happen to me is life, life itself and the experiences I get to have and make. And I get to hold them dearly in my heart and mind, I get to love and be present and treasure each moment with everyone I encounter. Lots of great things this year, but especially in this economic crisis, selling my adult tricycle! (I could no longer use it is due to a stroke.) Plus now I'm eating healthier and doing more walking to mainain my mobility, so it's all good news. 👍

The best thing that has happened this year is finally finishing residency and becoming a family physician after 11 years of studying, countless night shifts, nearly giving up multiple times and lots of sweat and tears. This has allowed me to envision life chapter two and build a new direction for what I want in the second half of life. My highlight was coming across this channel. It has inspired me to lose weight, start dressing up again, start shopping again & sticking to my style. I had not stepped out of my house & car in years. Best thing for me this year is getting healthier little by little, I can actually wear shoes now and look forward to being able to wear socks again this winter to keep warmer in my icy state. (legs/feet too swollen last year to wear shoes or socks!) Pearls are one of my faves to wear.

My favourite thing that happened to me this year, was surprisingly a health scare. I know that seems odd, but as difficult & stressed I was, it made me so much more mindful of the simple blessings in my life and so much more appreciative of my small family. My life is speeding by in a blur of responsibilities & being a busy stay at home mom with no me-time, I started to feel resentful. But having a health scare was the kick I needed to realise it is a privilege to be able to care for my family. To be home every day with them, stressed or not. I wouldn't trade those weeks of constant worry for anything, because it woke me up big time ❤ thank you for your awesome videos. I look forward to every one of them 😊

The best thing that happened to me this year shaking off the shackles of perfectionism. Don't get me wrong, I am recovering-perfectionist. What I have noticed having worked with professionals on this and implemented more mindfulness and self-compassion in my daily life, that it has also helped in my relationships with my children, family members, co-workers, etc... just feeling happier and lighter. I had my baby girl December last year (it will make sense, I promise) and when the newborn fog dissipated I realized that I’m kind of responsible for helping her gain her sense of self and individuality. Then I realized it was finally time to start expressing myself and to be proud of it and one of the ways I like to do that is through clothes and styles. So I finally started to curated my wardrobe and access outfits through my lens instead of “trendy this season”.

The best thing that has happened this year was graduating with my doctorate! I've been working on this degree for almost 10 years, so I am so proud to be done and to finally have accomplished my biggest dream👩‍🎓

I left my stressful job. 😆 My time has now been spent meeting with friends and family I haven't seen in over a decade. Childhood and high school friends in particular, and family members I've never met before! I've gone on so many adventures with each of them individually! Hiking, vintage shopping, berry picking, hot spring hopping. Not to mention the events I've gone to; a tea festival, a grand opening, farmer's markets, a Hawaiian festival, and now another Pacific Islander event soon. After so many years of loss and disappointment, this has been so invigorating. I feel alive and grateful! This is your sign to break away from things that don't bring you peace, and pursue your happiness with the people who care about you. ✨💃

Greetings! New subscriber 🐝 here, joined yesterday. Loved ur videos… I watched couple of videos and it’s totally mesmerizing. Thank you! The best thing happen to me this year is nursing my 83 year old dad after 2 consecutive cardiac arrests and a brain procedure due to subdural hemorrhage. I have to fly to my homeland two times within the last 4 months leaving my high school daughter here (with her dad). But I am so grateful that I was there with my dad all the way through when the doctors told us that it’s like a miracle that he came back to life. ❤

A few months ago I felt the need to learn a new hobby again. So I bought a portable sewing machine and learned how yo sew by watching KZfaq. Surprisingly I was able to resize plenty of my wardrobe pieces this time without having to go to a tailor and pay.

My husband said I can have chickens after two years of hinting and explaining the benefits. The egg shortage and skyrocketing prices finally convinced him. 🎉 We are currently putting aside money and exploring the best style of a chicken coop for our yard. And, yes, I will be wearing my pearls around my girls! 🐓

The best thing that happened to me this year was finally finding a therapist and starting with therapy. Accepting myself for who I am, is also helping me stylewise, so that even with a little bit more weight, i feel confident with what I'm wearing.

Favorite thing about this year is spending extra quality time with family and friends! I resigned from a job I was really struggling through, got to travel to Australia and parts of Europe, and start my own personal chef business which is something I’ve been dreaming about for a while now. These are such beautiful pieces, Audrey!

This year I have enjoyed talking some time off with work as a teacher and a single mother and spent more quality time with my young children and my family and just focus more on appreciating their presence in my life. Accepting and being more grateful of the uniqueness of our family despite our brokeness and counting more of our blessings each day. ❤🙏

Beautiful Audrey! Besides watching your videos when they first come out, I also rewatch them when I want to feel better and to improve my mood! It’s like having something nice, a special treat, so to speak, especially after watching all the political news… For example, right now I am miserable staying home, sick with Covid yet again, and watching your videos brings me so much joy! I was thinking of what was the best thing that happened to me this year? Besides my trip to Europe, seeing my family and spending two days with my adorable granddaughter Kira, I would say that it was a discovery of Sezane clothes company, again thanks to you! I bought three blouses from them online, I found out that they have a boutique in New York, where I live, so I can visit them in person. They have such a feminine style, I am in love with Sezane! I am very grateful to you for this recommendation. Classic and feminine style is timeless!

My favorite thing about 2023 is having the best good news ever! I am pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl, and due on October 2023! I had a miscarriage September 2022 and was afraid to try again, but here we are patiently waiting for the arrival of the twins very soon!!!❤❤❤

The best thing that happened this year so far was starting one on one meditation and self inquiry classes. Having done a lot of this thing in the past but the one on one focus has transformed my practice and outlook. Processing the grief I feel from my mothers passing last November has been tough, but facing head-on has been a rewarding experience for self growth and self-love. My mother and I practised meditation and yoga together for 16 years. I am blessed to have been a fellow seeker with her. Putting your health first has more power than you can ever imagine across all areas of your life.
