I think it's crazy so many of y'all are judging these kids lmao. Most of them are obviously hearing these songs for the first time, and even if they aren't and are kind of fans (like vivienne), they're obviously enjoying it. Why the hate? Just let them vibe, jesus. As someone who loves Metallica and is around their age, let them headbang lol. Seeing them headbang means they like it, which as Metallica fans, you should be appreciating. Not judging just cause they aren't as diehard as you want them to be.

Viv and Jaxon are my two favorites on the show, because they just kinda GET it...I remember back when Jaxon was in his early teens reacting to stuff and he was just....getting it. Viv is also dope, just like Jaxon she gets it, she's got great taste in music.

Nothing Else Matters was written by James Hetfield lead vocalist and guitarist of METALLICA. Metallica and Miley were on the Howard Stern show. Elton John made a video call to talk to Metallica cause he did a cor of the song with Miley for his charity album. James Hetfield ended up crying during the call cause Elton said that Nothing Else Matters was one of the best songs ever written to him.

YES! I'd love to see just a Cradle of Filth EP. I bet they go from hating it to loving it. Once they get that feel of Dani's voice being more of an instrumental addition, but not songs chronologically. You have to end it with one of their best songs like "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids" or "Nymphetamine" or "Beauty Slept in Sodom" or "Bathory Aria" or... (I could go on and on) and DEFINITELY do much better research when you're explaining the songs, themes, lyrics and albums!

Oh, Vivienne... For all the other things you brought to this, do not gatekeep. How fans got to liking the band is how they got there. If the first time they heard them was an episode of 'Stranger Things,' and they discovered they like Metallica, that's fine. I came to them in the late 80s post Cliff Burton era. Should the fans from before then call me a Johnny-Come-Lately nearly 40 years later? No. Your journey is not mine nor theirs. We love the music. That's what matters.

I worked at a CD store (don’t even exist anymore) the summer of 1996 right after “Until it Sleeps” came out. I had to listen to it a million times a day as part of a compilation music set that was played all day every day. It’s probably the only metal song I actually know, but I still love it! 🥰

DANG! Vivienne got the gutturals locked down 😂 I love her excitement. The Vivienne and Jaxon clutched headbang was AMAZING LOL. I love how Janelle touched on how often metal is overlooked as just screamy scream music when a lot of it really does have depth. I think more and more lyrics are ignored over the music itself. Read into the lyrics, a song may just transform to something entirely new for you. THE FACT that Jaxon picked up on not liking Lars' drum tone for St. Anger is hilarious 🤣 That snare is iconic in all the wrong ways. I personally didn't hate that album but yeah, the snare tone was not great lol. These are my favorite videos with Angel in them. She always seems to resonate with these.

Google the lyrics kids. We had to read album liner lyrics. This is thrash, not exactly the loudest metal, but it's pretty close. I'm 61 and listen to Gojira. You should listen to Amazonia by Gojira as a "gateway" to the genre. Black metal is not Death metal. Black metal has subject matter that is positive. Gojira is an environmental advocacy band. It's got a great video too. The drummer, Mario, is epic.

i liked load/reload, but their older stuff is by far better, stopped buying their albums when st anger came out, have every other album though
