Merci pour all the new vocabulary; e.g., remettre au lendemain (to put off till tomorrow); job alimentaire (day job); taf (job); avoir la flemme (to be lazy); paperasse (paperwork); être pris au dépourvu (to be taken by surprise/off guard); c'est de famille (it runs in the family); je me la coule douce (I take it easy)

Il y a toujours, je trouve, une balance entre ce qu'il faut absolument faire et ce qu'on a envie de faire. Et puis, de temps en temps on a besoin du repos. Qu'en pensez vous ?

Ouais, évidemment. on ne peut pas réaliser tous nos projets et faire tout ce qu’on a envie de faire. Il faut toujours avoir des tâches à faire et des plans à réaliser. Autrement, si une personne a fait tout ce qu’elle voulait, elle a une vie ennuyeuse, vide de sens.

Oui, je suis d'accord, quand on essaye de faire beaucoup de choses qu'il faut faire sans prendre repos on commence par être très productive mais ensuite après pas beaucoup de temps on fini sans motivation et tout le progrès est perdu.

Au Mexique on a le mot "ahorita", et ça peut signifier "Maintenant, dans cinq minutes, dans trente minutes, demain, la semaine prochaine ou jamais", on sait jamais quelle sera le résultat quand on dit ça :)

Oui, ça m'arrive de procrastiner de temps en temps, comme tout le monde, je crois ! Et parfois aussi ,ca me porte préjudice, malheureusement ! Mais en fait, je ne procrastine pas vraiment beaucoup pour les choses qui me plaisent ! Du coup, le problème, c'est qu'on doit faire des tâches qui nous sommes obligés à faire, c'est dans ce cas qu'on les remets toujours au lendemain ! Mais en tout cas, je dois me changer un peu ! Merci pour ce sujet intéressant et pour tous !👌

Il y a 3 ans, j'ai recommencé à étudier le français. J'ai acheté plusieurs cours de français d'un prof en ligne. Je ne les aimes pas😖 (surtout quand je vois ce que vous offrir!)...et je procrastine. Je préférerais être membre d'Easy French🤗

Normally I wouldn’t indulge in such frivolous nonsense as I’m essentially a misanthropic old duffer but at the risk of being a saccharine sycophant it needs to be said: if ever you are weary, feeling small, can I suggest 10 minutes of Helene interviewing random people on a Parisian street as therapy? I’m sure she has a dark side but this I know & defy anyone to gainsay: she is quite simply impossible to dislike. Fact.

Je suis une personne tres flemmarde et je procrastine beaucoup. Mais c’est principalement avec mes devoirs de l’école, je préfère complètement faire la ménage de toute ma maison deux fois au lieu de finir un écrit sur l’économie du Mexique. Le seul moyen dont je peux avancer avec mes devoirs est avec un peu (beaucoup) de pression de la date finale pour rendre le devoir. C’est très stressant mais ça marche 🤧

This book has many useful methods for learning a foreign language, how to develop your memory, how to memorize words, learn grammar, quickly learn to speak, read and write. If you could speak about the arrondissement, that would be great.. what is the monument in the background, par exemple.. des choses commes ça.. les jolis endroits à visiter dans le coin... des restos sympas pour tous les budgets..... that would add un peu de profondeur à votre présentation qui est spendide

Je procrastine étudier le français du temps en temps. J’ai décidé de le faire au moins 30 minutes tous les jours de quelque manière que ce soit. Mais, je ne procrastine jamais faire le ménage pour ma chambre!

Non, il parle des aides sociales que l'on peut recevoir en France (aide au logement...) et qui peuvent parfois arriver en retard

Bien sûr ! Ça veut dire : "je reste tranquille", "je me relaxe"... Par exemple : La semaine, je travaille, mais le week-end, je me la coule douce ! 😉
