Just purchased these in the black friday sale for £49. my first time using ANC headphones, first time turning on anc i was like wow thats cool, blocks out all surrounding sounds at a click of a button.. i am interested to learn how that technology works. not tried it on public transport yet though. the transparency mode is good as well, ive never liked walking with music playing because i like to be aware of surroundings, with transparency mode you can still hear your surroundings. just gotta tap the right side of the headphones to activate it while walking.

I wear foam earplugs when using the underground, but it does block out the world completely, which can be disconcerting. Thanks for your detailed review. I’ve ordered them!

Hello from Ukraine! Just bought myself Q20+ and with ANC on I missed the siren. I don't think it will cancel the actual air strike, or the work of air defense, but this is totally fine for me. And it was about $35 or $39 with shipping. From China it took about 2 weeks. That's pretty nice😊

I recently got a Q30. It is my first headphone. I decided to use it while I´m cycling, doing laps of around 4,8km in my suburb, keeping an average speed of 20km/h. The noise caused by the wind, even with the anc on, was very high and annoying, mainly when I was facing it. So, I decided to turn the headphone off. However, before doing so, I put my hand in front of the left phone to prevent the wind to hit it and to my surprise the noise, like a pass of magic, stopped. Then, the next day I cut two pieces of black soft rubber (kind of) and using sellotape I fixed them around each phone. The intention, of course, was to try to deflect the wind. I jumped on my bike and I couldn´t believe the result. The noise was almost completely cut off. Sometimes 100%. On average I would say 95% or more. I also noticed that if I kept my head up the noise decreased . Now I can use my headphones without bothering about that annoying noise.

My beloved Sony Headphones broke and since I have hearing aids, I can't wear in-ears, so I am stuck with over ear headphones and your video really helped, because I have to use public transport daily to get to work. So finding headphones where I can listen to my music loud enough to enjoy it without annoying the other passengers is really crucial for me. Anyway, your video really sold me on these headphones.

thx for the review. regarding Tube noises, maybe can consider IEMs like etymotic. they have 2 base models, mk5 and hf3. if u require mic, hf3. they help block out a lot of noise when i travel in the mrt in singapore

IN REGARDS TO NOISE CANCEL SUPPORT, TRY SOFT, THROW-AWAY, EARPLUGS PLUS NC MIGHT NAIL IT.

The Q20 Plus, has great noise cancelling for travel I use them and they block out vehicle noise completely But the comfort is annoying sometimes, and the ANC affects the music

I have the Q45s and they are fantastic

Have Bose and Sony headphones. If you are on the London underground then definitely get the Sony and not the Bose. The Bose performs relatively poorly as a protection against the noise and under stress from the rail noise there is crackling from the headphones.

Hi Annelies, I just bought these. Sounds great for the price, but was wondering what you think about the size. When I put it on it protrudes quite wide on my head and doesn’t exactly run in line with the head shape. This is my first over-ear headphone, and I see others types of headphones on people and hey don’t protrude so much. Does this make one look silly with it on? Or is this normal?
