AVOID THE WEEKEND TRAP

While I never would tell you what not to eat, you need to be aware that there are certain foods that are higher in calories, that you need to control. This is how I coach, I educate you enough over a period of time, to help you take your own conscious call.

In my 13 years of practice as a coach, I have invariably seen the new clients submitting their food longs religiously from Monday to Friday and disappearing on Saturday Sunday, coz that’s when they would eat out and do not know how to even log that in. There could be any of the following reasons:

- They self pitty for being careful over the weekdays and think they deserve to eat outside.
- A party invitation they cannot avoid, and cannot control what they eat okay fe there;
- They do not have track of all that they eat;
- They are guilty and avoid self-confrontation;
- They behave like a pigeon, thinking if they don’t log their food or don’t weigh themselves the calories may not affect them (I wish this could happen).

I see this all the time. And my advice every time to them has been that ignorance is bliss only for a short while. Unless you take charge of your habits you will not be able to overcome this. Only you can get yourself out of the weekend trap.
