I think the editor added the wrong file for background audio. The background sounds like repetition of what Nate and Grace sentences with a lag

For cleaning headlights in my experience those kits don't work very well so what I did was use sandpaper starting low and working up to 2000 grit than taking mineral spirits and clear varnish and mixing 1:1 ratio and applying that to the cleaned headlights after being sanded by hand and then let to dry for 12 hours and it stays clear for years 😎👍

Best way to restore headlights is the take them off, send them with 200 grits knock-off all the heart buildup, and then keep going up until you hit 800 grit. Then put your preffered UV resistant laquer/clearcoat, then sand orange peel off with 900 grit, and keep going up until desired glossiness

What the bug spray does, it does melt the plastic but there is a top layer like a clear coat that reduces UV damage. Once this is gone there is no protection on the lights anymore. A restoration of the clear plastic on the housings, or replacements which could cost you hundreds to thousands of dollars. As a intermediate mechanic, I do NOT advise going with the Headlight trend.

I worked in Fiordland NZ where there are no moose because the mosquitos carried them off years ago. We had to literally shower in deet just to function. Melted our watches.

What has worked for me in the past with headlight (I used to detail cars) I would use a very high grit sand paper (ex 1200 or 1500) and scuff the entire surface. Once it was sanded smooth, I would spray the entire surface with a clear coat and let it dry in a relatively warm, dust-free room. The clarity was about 95-98% brand new looking.

Weird details about the pennies dissolving in nitric acid: You're right and wrong about the change from green to blue being a sign the copper is gone and it's now dissolving zinc. Zinc nitrate is actually colorless in solution and has nothing to do with the color change. The green and blue are both copper (II) nitrate solution, and the main difference is just time and the end of the copper reaction (regardless of whether or not there's also zinc present). At first, the solution is more concentrated, especially around the dissolution site (aka: the pennies), which results in copper and nitrate ions being close enough together to coordinate together (basically, they're still dissolved, but they're close enough together to interact with each other more than with water molecules). Almost as soon as the copper finishes dissolving, however, the copper nitrate spreads through the solution enough to coordinate all of the copper and nitrate ions with water molecules, resulting in a bright blue solution. If you let the solution evaporate, you could end up with some copper nitrate crystals, which are also a very pretty blue.

Windex will FOG your headlights. That's one of the major reasons you see so many fogged headlights. NEVER use anything containing ammonia on polycarbonate.

Using random stuff to clean plastic/acrylic can cause it to craze - lots of tiny cracks that can weaken the material and make it even harder to see through. Sometimes it looks scuffed, but the plastic has cracked. Instead, use cleaning products made for cleaning acrylic/plastic. Glass is far more durable and resistant to chemical attacks, which may be where some of this “advice” comes from.

Crest toothpaste and a little scrubbing with a toothbrush or such is the very best way to make the faded yellow head light plastic become showroom new. This isn't my Idea and it works like magic.

With regards to the Chips to mashed potatoes bit... use less water, just enough to hydrate and moisten them enough to be able to turn it into the mash consistency. keep the water as there is where the flavour is.
