DO THINNER PAINTS MAKE LARGER CELLS? Sunset Swipe EXPERIMENT, acrylic paint pour, abstract fluid art

I made the pouring medium 2parts pva glue to 1part water by weight, and then mixed 2part pouring medium to 1part paint and 0.5 parts water by weight. I added extra water to some to thin them down so the consistency of all paints was the same.

I loved the first one and didn’t think you could improve on it but now I see the second one it’s really brilliant, not saying I don’t still love the first one but yeah the second one is better because of the cells. 💕

Both are gorgeous. But the bigger cells looks better and the shimmer of the gold just sets it off when the light hits it. Simply colorful and beautiful ❤️😊

Beautiful work- larger cells for me - as you said quite flower like too, would love to see them with the gold centres together just out of curiosity too 😊 Definitely look like the sunset on the horizontal though - just beautiful pieces of art!

I can't believe I watched this (and I did) but didnt leave a comment! Beautiful results and that's s an awesome swiping technique you employ there. Personally, I like the larger cells, it seems like the colors are more defined. But both are nice! Said it before Claire... Love everything you do!! You are a talented Artist!! 🎨🖌️ 😊😊~D

I like the first one. The colors seem to be lighter. However, the second one turned out brilliant. It just depends on if you like small cells or large cells. 😊

I’m a bit biased since I tend to not like a lot of cells so I choose the first one you did because to “me” it looks “softer”

Beautiful I love them both, I was hoping you would have moved them so the sun was one big circle, in the video ... I bet would be very pretty. If I had to choose though I would go with the 2 nd one, because of the bigger cells. ❤️

I like both of them but I think the second is better due to the fact that it doesn't look quite as blended. More contrast between the colors.
