The brown circles are called Leca balls. They hold water so the orchid can have it when it needs it before you soak the roots

Only 3 vitamin B1 tablets are enough. Water your orchids once a week. You can buy liquid vitamin B1 to water your orchids according to the manufacturer's instructions.
