Again what a blessing to see the average golfer receiving the lesson and results from two very skilled players that know how to teach. I so enjoy this type of content; the issues, analysis, corrective feedback and practice and quality result .

This is a great video. Having a student that understands what the differences are and can set words to what he does and feels, makes it very instructional. So please make more videos with players like Todd.

I didn't gain 50 yards but this did help me fix some alignment issues to start getting my normal distance back. While I have generally done well aligning the face, the cross angle to set the 90 degree square has been off. This gave me a reminder and an idea on how to fix that on the course. Good stuff as always.

Every time I watch these videos and go to the driving range, my game gets worse. Not saying these videos are bad, it’s that transitioning from video to practical change is more difficult because we tend to fall back to our old habits quickly unless someone is there to correct you.

It's making sure we have great habits that prevent us from sliding too much. Posture check, alignment check, good rehearsals of quality movement etc.

For years I messed about and didn’t have routine… what a waste. Here’s what I did, I started practicing with just my 50/54/58 at the range (didn’t take any other club) hit around 600 balls 100 yards for around 3 months, then took PW & 8 iron repeated same thing, then 7&4 iron repeated again.. I didn’t play golf… Then after I perfected it (which I did not but I noticed my dispersion was tighter with every club) I then took driver and driver alone… I’ll tell you, the difference in my game is so noticeable, and I’m super comfortable over every shot, not playing golf and practicing makes you a better player period. Top tip… Learn to hold your finish on every shot, it improves you massively.

Id like to see you guys do a video on shafts if you think it’s important. I’m hitting 200m drives with a slice. I have a regular shaft and swing about 100miles an hour. I just can’t get the club face closed.

This is a bit of me in a nutshell. I keep hooking the ball. I think I'm playing it to ahead and my alignment is most likely off. I'll head over to the range after work today and check these fundamentals out.. If you guys come find me and fix me I'll pay your round at my local course in Canada! ;)

Ok...Just for the record Im a teacher and I understand why these teachers did what they did in this video,....I would have liked them to address the real problem with this mans swing, instead of just slapping a bandaid on ....but I get it....People, if you are looking to really improve I strongly suggest even kust taking one lesson with a real good teacher and ask for the long term swing fixes not a band aid.
@meandmygolf.
@meandmygolf. Ай бұрын
Not sure how fixing ball position, stance and alignment is a band aid. Just great fundamentals and a base for Todd to work from. Definitely recommend lessons for anyone though. You just have to find the coach that you see actual results in and you resonate with

@georgejung5429

Unless he hit it about 180 yards with driver to start with 😂 and if he did, 50 yards is more than an acceptable gain if corrected properly. I hit the ball around 270 yards with a slice, I’m pretty sure I could get 30 yards more if I started hitting it better, I know this because when I do hit it better & correct and it flies dead straight, and I do get 300 yards.

How is it clickbait? Nowhere in the title does it say you’ll gain 50 yards and the guy literally went from hitting it like 170-180 to 220. Also, just stop watching if you’re really that upset and mad about it. Nobody is making you watch the videos, stop whining and complaining.
