If you're considering hiring an agency to create a video to better connect with your audience, here are the essential factors you need to consider:
1) Before you speak with your agency, make sure you have SMART goals in place for your new video. Otherwise, the video will not be useful and won't help you engage with your people.
SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.
Here is an example: 25% of employees leave the organization within the first 12 months. We want to improve our rotation rate by 5% during the following 12 months.
With at least this information, you are now in a better position to go talk to an agency or even in-house creative team about what you want to achieve and WHY.
2) Ask your agency to help you achieve these goals. They'll be closer to help you get where you want to get if you at least tell them the destination and why.
