Thank you for this. Your explanation of club face control is as helpful as any tip I’ve ever received. The wrist position at the top based on grip type is gold. I never had confidence in what it should look/feel like at the top. Once I extended my trail wrist, I felt like I was just hoping that it was square. Now I know. Makes beautiful sense.

Wow the first macro movement is crazy half way back stop and then up so pure. My first full swing was thin. So couple more times with two part swing pure again. So I absolutely on next full swing my back swing was as slow as Kim on PGA tour and I pured it great lesson thanks.

I have too many thoughts, only because after 10 years of golfing, I can hit it...but I'm always trying to do better. Like many, faults will present themselves that weren't there last year. You try to work through them. You pick up tip after tip after tip. Take it to the range, it may work. It may not. I'm constantly trying to get better. How do we do that? Watching awesome teachers like you or other pro's.

For narrow stance swing I fully agree. For wide stance swing (driver) I am not so sure

I love how it took all of 20 seconds for you to comprehensively explain the relationship between grip strength and left wrist flexion/extension. I feel like everyone should mention that caveat when they are talking about wrist position in the backswing.

Exactly! Until this video I NEVER had confidence in what was supposed to be going on at the top, regardless of how well I was striking it. It was always a mystery-and that’s not good.

Interesting , I haven’t seen the separation of lower body and upper body comment before. I tried it in the basement with foam balls. Works well but I find I’m over rotating and pulling with the woods. Any suggestions?

Thanks bud. “Over rotation” won’t be the problem as over rotation in sequence isn’t a fault as it doesn’t exist. Check your club face conditions

I use a strong grip. Can't get a flat or bowed wrist with it. If I neutral it up the shot will be weak. Shoot me and get it over with.

You can cup the left wrist with a strong grip like is mentioned in the video 👍🏼

@@jchowngolf Thanks again- that observation was solid gold. I have a strong grip, I increased my distance substantially as a result (e.g. I can hit my 40* 9 iron 190 when I want). So I dont want to weaken it, but now I know I dont have to and I should concentrate on getting the lead hip back while staying with the shot
