Hair grows majority 0.5 inches a month. If you’re starting from today, realistically, you will retain 3.5-4 inches by the end of December. Very few people actually grow an inch a month and it’s always due to genetics.

New subbie here. Thank you for the tips. I recently accepted that braids grow my hair but my hairline isn't happy. I have thin and I'm just trying to figure out how to take care of it.

Alternate or keep to styles that don't tug on the edges e.g 'brush' styles can any one explain that in American lingo . 2ndly err for styles that you don't have to slap 'stiffners' on . Conclusion do protective styles that give your edges breathing space moisturise and massage often . Cheers

It was very hard listening to the protective style even if it's the truth. I have tried to grow my hair without protective style and it's not working 😅. I don't feel feminine with twist. Can you make a tutorial on how you do your twist. It look really nice on you. How long do you have to keep those twist? Do we have to wash and deep conditionner every week with this protective style?
@Didiecurls
@Didiecurls Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I personally used to feel the same way about twists. Now, it my go to. I’m going to try doing a tutorial very soon 😊. I usually keep them for two weeks. I tried one week and it seemed it didn’t protect my hair long enough lol. But I’m aiming for three to four weeks so let’s see how that goes 😆. Anyway, I’m happy the video was helpful to you. 💕
@Didiecurls
@Didiecurls Жыл бұрын
Oh, and no, you don’t need to deep condition every week with the twists unless your hair is really in need of it. No to the washing too, if you have a clean scalp. My scalp doesn’t flake in two weeks so I guess it’s not set in stone for everyone. Observe your scalp, let that tell you what to do. ❤️

If you are uncomfortable with your length, think about feeding in human kinky bulk hair into your twist or braids instead of synthetic hair. This has been a game changer for length retention for me 😊.

I noticed when you want to say something extremely beneficial, the video cuts. Why is that. Seems like when editing, the most effective thing is being cut out and we're left with what we hear other KZfaqrs say everyday. I just feel like there's something more that's not being said because we're doing all what we're told and still see less results while they're flourishing quickly. Just my thoughts.

Those are fluffs.😀 When you see me cut out mid-sentence, I’m cutting off repetitions. There is plenty of those while talking about something you’re passionate about! Now, I do agree that when repeating points, I do tend to go in-depth and maybe even bring up other necessary points but if I kept them, I’d be repeating so many things, and despite giving more value, it’d be one long video to watch. But thank you for watching ❤️
