I am debt free and I have retirement savings and I'm building wealth for my family not everyone has money in the bank is so true. I manage to have an emergency fund to cover a whole year to not work. Credit score didn't help me do this but everyone wants the easy path without putting in the work. For 2024 I'm hoping to see everyone win.

800 Credit Score means your financially responsible for your debts. And a good personal credit score is a good segway to get Business Credit, to run your business well and profitable. But that's just my thought about it.

Just having extra lines of credit will increase your score. Your score is still in the positive when you pay your balance every month.

Love your show brother. Been watching intently lately because I'm an older fool who as a military retiree never took money and legacy seriously. Now I'm getting serious in my late 50s struggling to get those around me to participate in promoting financial responsibility. I'm not gonna lie...I use your show to help my circle understand my failures. In this show, however, I heard you mention black and white several times. I'd like to suggest there are no white and black people. They could possibly be prejudiced terms created to demean. I would use the example where very dark people exist in India, and Asia including Eskimos living in Greenland, Canada, Alaska, and Siberia. In fact, the increased melanin in their skin provides better protection against the intense UV radiation present in the Arctic region possibly disproving the assumption that limited melanin is a product of living in cold environments. In addition, the majority of the world contains dark-skinned people who may not have migrated from Africa found in Asia, Australia, and South America. Is it possible people of limited melanin are an aberration, possibly alien to the globe since an explanation for the loss of melanin can no longer be explained since Science and Religion suggest all of humanity emanated from two people? I do not know for certain, but what I do know is descendants of Africa might want to stop calling themselves Black, especially after learning more about the conception of the term. I have a 745 credit score, and my husband has over 815, but we started cutting up every card after we paid them off because we no longer want to experience true financial freedom and build wealth. I won't lie it was hard because we had to reprogram our way of thinking when it comes to credit. But honestly... it's worth it to know that the debt and the risk of reoccurrence are gone.

Yeah. I've decided to go the opm route. I know my strengths and weaknesses, and I feel like I would be far stronger by using the "make a larger profit than your interest rates" method. But I am very open to learning as much as possible about everything. I get I'm more of a Robert Kiyosaki guy than a Dave Ramsey guy, but I will never reject more education.

I agree with Anthony a lot of the time and some time I don’t , and this is one of those times I think the average person doesn’t make 6 figures so to build a foundation to Aquire a home, decent running car, credit is the only way, unless you are fortunate to receive a inheritance or your family gives you money or a opportunity where you don’t have to come up with a down payment, or some one gift you a decent running car you will have to use a form of credit. I also believe there is good debt and bad debt.

I honestly don’t care about my credit score. It’s a gaf I did everything they said to improve my score. When I got under 20% debt. They drop my score 40 points then when I got under 10% they dropped it another 40 points. Both of these marks are what they said I needed to do to improve my score.

I know what you mean. I am debt free, but my credit score keeps dropping because I lack a payment history, and have no installment loans. It’s as if they want me to go into debt just to get higher credit scores? Like Aretha Franklin famously said: “Ain’t No Way!”

If you don't have that certain credit score, no buying a house. Also, if you want a decent car with lower interest your score got to be high. It's all about control on debt. I want a good score and wealth. And I do use certain cards and pay it off that month, I want the cash.

Card credits help build credit credibility. Miss management of cards is your responsibility. Once your FICO score is over 750 there is nothing you can’t get. Self control is needed. Cutting a cards lowers credit history and score. So if you’re 600 and below that’s not going to work. Especially if you’re young. To jump 150pts will take 20+ years. This works for established and accomplished individuals.

Why not just be disciplined and take advantage of all the benefits of credit cards while building a great score. Using your credit card to get cash back is free money, period. If you don’t have discipline just say that but to say using a credit card is racking up debt is nonsense. Also the quality of what you can rent definitely depends on your credit. Homeowners want to rent to ppl who have high scores as there are not many other things to determine your ability to pay the rent. High credit means you are more responsible and don’t miss payments.
