He is unable to give a direct answer to the question. The question was should a Christian marry a person of same caste. He is hiding behind economic level and giving the answer. Why does he not say one can marry a person of different caste provided both the families were of same economic level. Those who differentiate the members of the church (which is actually the members of the body of Christ) on the basis of caste, have not understood the truth behind water baptism. They have made the truth of water baptism a mere ritual. Such bring shame to the name of Christ.

Talk about the harsh reality of caste practices during marriages in Indian Christian community. Isn't it a paradox that almost always two people from the same caste fall in love and get married with each other with so called a Christian mind..this is the reality widely prevalent in India and mostly in South India. You have missed the question Mr. Zac Poonen...and theologically you are not right as on this point. Far from the teachings of Christ. Isn't that true that there are separate churches for Dalits and upper caste Christians in Kerala? You have failed to grasp the very core of Jesus'message and his teachings.

Doe marrying someone of a different caste mean they have a different Body, Spirit, or Mind? Why is appropriate to put exceptions when the Bible already gives a clear answer?

I know of many people of high economic status who married someone of low economic status and their entire life was great. The Bible actually does give guidelines and what to look for, why sit behind the Bible and yet your personal philosoph?
