The hairdresser has a terrible case of split ends. I don't know why, but I always look at their hair before I let them touch mine. And, she needs to have her scissors sharpened.

I'm in cosmotology school and I was watching this thinking that nothing about the technique made sense and I was horrified watching her chop away like a 7 year old would, but I kept thinking "she's a professional and it's probably going to be an AMAZING, SUPRISING result...." I waited anxiously and am very disappointed. I would be so mad if I were the client. She could've had a super cute lobb or a WELL CUT pixie... i would bet anything that she went somewhere to get it fixed after this. Luckily the client is beautiful and can rock whatever she wants to. But stylists like this make people never trust a stylist again. I dont mean to sound so mean but this truly bothers me. And I hope that people learning to cut hair refers to this video as an example "what not to do"

I totally understand how you feel. I wouldn't call this an example of good hairstyling. I do believe that people are perfectly capable of deciding for themselves, which is why I shared this makeover anyway. Lots of people still like the result, however imperfect it may be

Why does everyone get those atrocious undercuts? Must be hell to grow out. It looks like she has bald spots where it was shaved in the back. Just hacked away at this poor woman's hair. She looks older with this cut, Terrible. I hope she grows it out.

The nape clearly shows a mistake. There is too little hair in that one spot. I have to say, no one is "going there" which is to say, this woman has a very large prominent nose and the haircut accentuates that.

This is a horrible haircut the “ stylist” had bare spots in the back at the bottom of the models hair. She just kept chopping away with no real plan in mind. You will notice that the stylist has long hair and would never allow anyone to cut her own hair above her own shoulders. Hair butcher at its best.

What a mess. I’m not a hairdresser but just watching that hacking and chopping - not a sign of any training technique whatsoever I was cringing. The scissors seemed to be blunt as well. I’d stay well away from that hairdresser. Disaster 😢

You are kidding. This is painful to watch, starting with the absolute haphazard 'sectioning' right from the beginning all the way to the sloppy chopping with dull scissors. I am more precise when I cut the chicken for dinner.

It was awful. I just saw a guy cut a woman’s hair into a pixie and never once used a comb. He finger combed and grabbed chunks in his fist and cut. The poor girl. She seemed happy, but may have changed her mind when she saw a close up at home.

@@haarminnaar Not much to say. The way she cuts the hair in a drastic manner without too much sectionnning is great, the haircut too. Something that i could suggest, is to have 2 different perspectives, one where you turn around the model throughout the cut and one with a front cam so you can see her reactions etc. allaboutpixiecuts (the filipino barber, you know him since you posted some vids) is doing this aswell and it's the best way to film a haircut imo.

The hairdresser was like chopping away with no goal, so it seemed. I didn‘t see her using any guide while cutting. It all seemed very random to me. That just shows that years of experience doesn‘t necessarily mean you‘re becoming good at it. I once heard the sentence “the hairdresser had a pair of scissors and a dream”. Well, that kind of fits the situation. Poor client.

Since at least 1985, consumers call women's short clippered hair "shaved." As a hairdresser that makes me crazy. If the hair on your legs was that long would you say they were shaved?

I think it makes her look substantially older and her hair is too thin in the back to have it that short in the back. I think a cut that was not as drastic would have been much better for her. The hairdresser just went cut crazy. And even if someone gives them complete freedom, if they are good, they would still ask questions around daily upkeep, etc.

I'm sorry but I he hairdressers own hair is very damaged that would be a red flag for me not to allow her touch my hair ,the clients hair is fine straight and silky not the easiest hair for a short style to do ,and no offense to the hairdresser but she was out of her league with this cut definitely needs more training
