Sunak’s speech is like a metaphor for the Tory party itself. The whole country can see how awful the weather is but Sunak and the Tory party are going to carry on and act like… what rain? It’s not raining! While we are all soaking wet and shivering.

The rain was either a poignant metaphorical picture of the captain going down with his ship in the storm. He’s had enough, just like the rest of U.K. covid,brexit Russia wokeism no foundations silly church antics. The list goes on. Mentioning the Scottish school holidays is key. This was definitely done on purpose. And what better way to stick it to the SNP MP who made fun of the PM. Labour cannot win without Scotland voting Labour. If people are on holiday that could significantly reduce votes for Labour. It definitely all looks hurried but someone somewhere thought this out. What is exactly is wrong with getting a little wet in rain? I do it all the time, it is not only better and refreshing and rejuvenating to the soul but also a whole lot more convenient than having to carry a silly umbrella along. PM Rishi stood out there alone ... in the rain announcing a fight ... and all the media worries about is a rain that was worth a few drops of water. You never walk into a fight worrying about a few drops worth of rain carrying a brolly ... unless you happen to be a Brit I suppose. Besides if you call that rain, I say you haven't really seen rain before ...
