A few tips for playing neeko: You can bind your passive transform to keybinds (champion interaction 1-6 in the settings) for easy transforms. For taking towers, turning into a melee champion often gives you attack speed (melees have more base attack speed normally) and melees do more dmg to turrets in general. Transforming into a champion hides your empowered auto, so if you transform into a ranged champion you can easier land your empowered autos. If you're pushing and the enemy backs off right before the enemy minions die, they often lose vision of the wave for a few seconds. If you transform into a minion at this time it's almost impossible to spot for the enemy (6:00 is a good example where this would've worked). You can use your clone to step on traps like teemo shrooms and shaco boxes.

Every time I play vs teemo I go AP sej, makes them pull their hair out, halve the time they spam type. So fun.

For anyone interested in Neeko, check out Doglightning's Neeko bible video on YT. Gives a lot of great in depth info. One thing I don't think I saw Pekin take advantage of in this vid is that you can animation cancel your Q right before your ult goes off to guarantee landing the triple Q.

Hob poppy is recommened cuz of mikyx, he takes it into ranged support (varus kalista at MSI)

I want to add in that Pantheon is a very nice Teemo counter as well because your spear is the same range as his autos, so as soon as he goes in to attack you, you can win the trade with one ability

Neeko top is also great against melee picks. You can go on-hit with W max. W-empowered AA gives you movespeed, which is basically free Fleet every 3 autos and the active part of W helps you instantly drop minion agrro and makes it more difficult to click you for auto-atackers. That ability alone gives you insane kiting potential and if you combine it with your very long root on e, you can easily poke melee opponents out of lane and even sometimes solo-kill them. Neeko also has longer attack range compared to Teemo and Quinn, Neeko's 550 against 500 and 525. I usually go PtA, triumph, legend bloodline (if you go berserker's) and cut down with resolve secondary. Conditioning and overgrowth help you get a little more durable and synergize well with items such as Terminus or Hullbreaker. As for build, i usually take BotRK\Kraken first into Guinsoo's. Other useful items include Runaan's, Terminus, Wit's End, Phantom Dancer and Hullbreaker, since on-hit Neeko takes turrets very fast and her kiting makes her a strong duelist. Navori and Statikk may be viable too but i haven't tried either yet. It might not be as consistently good as more meta ranged tops like Quinn or Vayne but it definitely is a fun playstyle. I'd be happy to see you try it out.

azir is also fantastic into teemo, even if he hits his blind you can often bait him to chase after being blinded and then its an easy shuffle under tower

I once played Sona top in ranked. Granted, we had a Wukong 'support' (cheese kill lane) and the opponent was a Teemo. Surprisingly equal footing. Granted, if I was less focused on support, and more on just outright killing the little twat, I'd probably play Jayce, who can stay safe from the unnecessary ranged attacks, poke back, and most certainly has much better all in burst.

Funnily enough, a teemo counter picked my tryndamere (who picked trynda against swain and kayle, none of which ended up in the toplane), so I, Lux mid, swapped lanes with trynd. It was one of the easiest lanes ever, its like they didnt even know what to do when they can't bully you off blind.

Hey, any chance you could do a AP MF vs a teemo top. Her E is unmissable and sets up her q so well as teemo range is so short her q is always in range, and her w means shes just as fast so you can keep the kiting going. AC+scorch+ cheapshot.

You can also turn into teemo shrooms and illaoi tentacles very fun character, tho u dont go invis so be careful they can see you, but they never learn 😊😂 Btw the reason it takes some time to change to another minion after u deleted one is u need to get away from them a bit before trying again
