What about TEFL certificates?

TEFL is an accredited and regulated qualification. You MUST be accredited and certified under the regulatory body to offer this.

Thank you for this wonderful information and insight. I have a question. I would like to become a legally registered training provider by assisting other organizations and small businesses in registering their online courses as "accredited" for a specific competency or "learning skill". Can I accomplish this as a single person "entity"? Thanks.

Now if I may present something opposite to what you are saying, what if one wants to actually seek or desire accreditation through a national organization or governing body in order to legitimize their course including validating their reason to gain certification (or certificate of competancy). Of course, this would be different to a certificate of completion like those offered through Udemy or what not, but actual certifications, in a slightly unorthodox area of expertise catered by you, the creator.

@@SarahCordinerEDU It does NOT please see the settlement with the Trump University in federal court Trump NEVER claimed he was ACCREDITED. Also, see New York and California statutes regarding education
