Instead of Cesar not being an alternate in this universe, I think of Cesar still as an alternate, but a different one “interrupted” him, so it’s like a fight over prey essentially, which explains how apathetic Cesar is with the “yeah.. so sorry.” As it never really was Cesar.

This actually fits. As in the original Zanta there are people fighting someone to let someone free and the same could be applied to here. But instead of Mark and Cesar fighting to let someone else free it could be considered as them fighting for themselves to be free.

This mod is actually underrated, if you didn't love it, I don't know what you love, This is amazing because although the mod has 1 song for now, it actually explains a lot what's going in the mod. You can tell that they will die from a shadowy figure because the people were labelled as: Victim 1 and 2, its kind of like the Funking out of reality mod. But yet, the 2nd thing that tells you about Cesar isn't bopping his head, signing that he knows his fate or technically worried. And finally, Cesar Looks at the player for all of the song, either asking for help but doesn't try to bang the screen because he knows the alternate is going to hear it, and after a slightly chat with Mark, Cesar gets caught, but he already knew his fate. Everyone’s making theories saying that this is some sort of AU, but my personal theory is that, the alternate here is the same alternate that either lead to Cesar’s mom passing out or the one that pretends to be Cesar. Cesar calls Mark to help out while Cesar leaves to the hospital, but the alternate breaks in. Cesar apologizes to Mark as Mark dies, Cesar had to use Mark as bait to escape, but Cesar eventually dies too... (I know Mark was the one that died but I don’t think the alternate would let Cesar live.)

I'm thinking this is an au where Cesar is an nice alternative and helps Mark because he doesn't want Mark to end up dead. Another au could be that Cesar was always an alternate before when he first met Mark. Which is why he is helping Mark in the song.

I imagine that the Cesar here isn't actually the real Cesar, but a legitimately friendly alternate who actually wanted to HELP Mark. Since the real Cesar is dead, the alternate simply decided to take on Cesar's identity as he was already copying it, anyways. When the bad alternate attacked the two, Alternate!Cesar tried to stop the bad alternate with Mark...but they couldn't stop Mark from being influenced by the bad alternate.

theory ( i dont know if someone else made this ): when cesar calls up mark, same thing happens but no glitches happen and so this time cesar isnt an alternate, when mark switches the cameras on, he gets out of there but the alternate follows him back home, and cesar actually somehow finds out about this and gets to marks house in time, cesar busts in and helps mark defeat the alternate and yea

Ok, guys, a lot of people want there to be ( or daydreaming about ) an alternative, that is good/friendly. And I actually have a small idea for that, just for fun. So, what if there is that one alternative that stays in people's houses for only one reason - to watch them. It's so curious in human kind and everything people have, that it's just watches, intrested: watches people cook food, learns how the emote, how they behave with each other, what relationships is ( family, friends, lovers, etc.), likes to hear them play instruments, see them being creative and so much more. And one day, after being noticed multiple times ( or heard) in the house (just hanging around without being hostile), it tries to speak with the owner, only for them to get a gun and try to shoot it. But the "thing" isn't angry for that, it's intrigued. It's intrigued in what's going on, it's likes "the show". It tries to convince the owner, that it's friendly, telling " *I AM HERE NOT TO HARM BUT TO WATCH* ", which is true, and eventually owner believes it, and than it's entertained again, curious to see, how far will it go. " What's going to happened, if I speak to the human?", "What's going to happend if I'll ask them to play that nice melody again?" "What's going to happened, if I'll continue to talk to them?", " What's going to happened, if his friend, that he called to tell about his strange encounters with me, is going to drive to his house, wanting to get rid of me, but I will just try to speak to them too?" It's just here for the show. It's just to see what is going to happen. It will not be angry. It's curious. It's likes to see the development. The only thing it will say on the question of "Why aren't you trying to make me unalive myself?" - " *IT WOULD BE A SHAME TO LOSE ALL OF THAT DEVELOPMENT* ". And because of knowlege that it's gaining, it's able to understand certain aspects of the peoples lives, that helps it go into that even deeper. So, basicly, you have yourself an alternative, that refuses to leave, because you managed to intrested it in your life/hobbies/etc. You're welcome. A lot of ppl in the comments are saying that "Ceasar is an alternate and fighting with the other main alternate to see who gets to kill Mark". But in my personal opinion, why would Ceasar (whos supposed to be an alternate) keep fighting the other alternate after Mark is killed?; And why would alternate Ceasar keep their form after Mark is dead? I believe that this mod would take place in a different universe where Ceasar is not an alternate and is helping Mark with the whole alternate problem.
