I will troubleshoot by checking the status of the interfaces. Switch> enable Switch# show ip interfaces brief If the status of these ports are administravely down, you will need to bring them up Switch# Configure terminal Switch(config)# int range f0/15 - 24 Switch(config-if-range)# no shutdown These ports should come up and the problem should be solved. Else the switch has a hardware issue.

If the LEDs aren't blinking, doesn't that always point to a hardware issue?

One is green & rest of the lights are orange which shows that both switches are in native vlan. Connect the upper switch cable to port 15 & below switch cable to port 1 then run commands on the below switch: sh ip int br...(to check if the port status is down or up)...

Select Ip interface range and then use no shutdown cnd I think port are Show up

It is hardware issue. There should have some led blinking.

Must be hardware issue or port must have been disabled. Port shut and unshut might work in this case

I just check if the interface are down, using the command s()#show ip interface brief

Show run It may be a problem on vlan vlan is shutdown which contain all shutdown ports

if it's a port security issue, interface would in a "err-disable" in the status column the remaining port-security modes does not shutdown interface, as you can see in the sh int stat, all the ports are in the same vlan, and non of them are "administratively down" which leaves us with a physical error

Sir one request...in fresher point of view they don't know about colors blinking above the ports ..amber & green something colours Will you practically teach what colour means what ? We need a video Sir as a fresher point of view
