I didn't know them for a long time and to my shame, in the first 2-3 days I confused Jin with Hobi, so I started watching behind the scenes videos and episodes of Run BTS...that's how I realized how different they were not only in looks but also in personality.... always Jin seemed to me an introverted person behind the screen, because usually those with an exacerbated cheerfulness are usually quite closed and quiet people, who want to keep their feelings and sorrows to themselves ... Wow! What an enjoyable video that I can and will watch several times. I know some people would say I am wrong, but I feel that there are a lot of people (other than those fans who absolute adore Jin) out there who don’t/cant/wont see the many different sides to Jin. They always notice the guy who is always joking around or the guy who brags about his looks. But I rarely see any of them “peeling back the onion” to see the real Jin. The mature Jin who quietly supports his members, by encouraging them through his actions and his words. The Jin who will divert attention away from other members when they may be unsure or shy or whatever. The Jin who is never prideful or boastful, quite content to let the others shine. But also the Jin who can be very insecure himself, especially when he compares himself to the other members. The Jin who doesn’t think he deserves any accolades individually because he is part of the team. It really bothers me that in most of their interviews, most reporters always ask him about his looks. But rarely do they care about any of his thought processes on how he goes about his career. Which just keeps on feeding into the whole Jin can’t dance, can’t sing. He’s only there for his face. Also, I’ve heard many times that Jin is the main actor in their music videos, after all he is an actor. But in my opinion, I have found that not to be true. In fact there are many MVs where Jin has little screen time. Gosh enough ranting….beautiful, well thought out video. Thank you!

Wow, this is really one of your best vids. Festa 2019: the difference between Jin and Seokjin and the change in Jin in 2015/16. What was the difference between RM's and Seokjin's personality (apart from the concept)? What was Seokjin like? The passionate outspoken RM with strong convictions and the shy, kind, well behaved Seokjin from a wealthy background who didn't seem to have either (go with the flow). If I had been RM I wouldn't have been impressed by Seokjin at the start. Learning about Seokjin's insecurities, his will to work hard and his care for the members must have made it easier for them to get on with each other. I believe the key to Seokjin somehow is that he is an actor. One could say in a way Seokjin is playing the role of "Jin". It took me 2 years to find the vid (2014) where Seokjin/Jin talks about not liking pink. Wearing pink was taken by some as an indication for him being gay, so.... And the New Year vid from 2019/20 is one of my favorites. Also seeing the members talk about Seokjin/Jin is very enlightening (which year?). And special thanks for using BTS songs, you know I have a different taste in music otherwise.

The result of my long analysis about it was that both Jinkook and Taekook are not a real love relationship. But dear friends who play couples for two reasons. I am so happy that someone finally mentioned JK's shutdown when Jin entered the military. I was worried sick that he wasn't do any dance challenges, was maybe drinking too much and not sleeping regularly. But he is stronger than I gave him credit for - and he ended 2023 on top of the entire world. The new King of Pop!
