I started a journey on the 7 Spirits of God when I read the scripture in Revelation 1:4 "the seven spirits who are before his throne" which did take me to Isaiah 11:1-4. What thrilled me was now reading Proverbs. Example Proverbs 3:13-18 13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. As I read in Proverbs now I can read about wisdom, knowledge, understanding, & etc. that this is the seven spirits that sit before the throne and the Holy Spirit.

Beautiful teaching. Actually Isaiah 11:2 should be explained as the seven attributes or expressions of the Holy Spirit who is also called "The Spirit of the Lord". He expresses himself in 7 fold manifestations: The Spirit of Wisdom The Spirit of understanding the Spirit of counsel The Spirit of Might The Spirit of knowledge The Spirit of the Fear of God The Spirit of Judgment

Thank you for helping me to understand this. I have often wondered about it. Also when you were talking about the fulness of power from the seven horns and the fulness of discernment from the seven eyes I felt like I understood it to be the aspects of God - Omnipresent, Omnipotent(horns), and Omniscient (eyes).

God is One, in essence is it THREE. It is THREE, but in essence it is 7. Seven is the number of the perfect man, its symbol is a circle. The Holy Spirit is the SEVEN spirits. In creating man, the Holy Spirit created them in the image of him (which is Wisdom) and in the likeness of GOD, the One (which is LOVE). Understand this: A seed (which is the spirit of GOD) cannot grow unless it is planted. And everyone has that seed in them and the seed is planted in the soul of man and the soul then need to dwell into a body. You see, God is spirit and you cannot grow spiritually unless you're planted into the soul for it to grow. And the soul in turn cannot grow unless it is planted into a body. This is why there are seven spirits in each one of us. The first spirit is the seed and it is actually two united to become one because God is Love and Wisdom. When it is planted into the soul, the soul has two spirits, that makes it 3. When the soul planted into the physical body, it manifested into 4 more making it 7. Three from above and 4 from below. The 4 below are only in the physical world...and they represent Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Fire and Air combined to from ONE as Love and Wisdom and so is Water and Earth. So our job is to united them into One and finish it in the Earth realm. Once that it is accomplished, then we need to united the Love and Wisdom in the spiritual realm for the soul. Then and ONLY then will our work is done. This is why Jesus said, you must be born of water and spirit to enter the kingdom of God...which mean you must born into the physical body and conquered these 4 elements and then once you're graduated, must come (or born) into the spiritual realm and conquer the soul...then and ONLY then you can get back home.

Isaiah 11 does not say anything about 'the seven spirits of God'. That verse is not enumerating the Spirit of God as if He were seven. This is a classic example of eisegesis where folks try to force-fit their ideas into Scripture passages. Revelation is the only Book of the Bible where 'the seven spirits of God' is spoken of - and in that same book we find its meaning: "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having *seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God* sent forth into all the earth" (Rev. 5:6). Look again: 'seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God'.

Revelation 1:20 The Seven Stars you saw in my right hand and the seven-branched gold menorah-do you want to know what's behind them? The Seven Stars are the Angels of the seven churches; the menorah's seven branches are the seven churches." Nothing to do with Isaiah passage. Isaiah 11:2 And the Spirit of the LORD will rest on him- the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. It’s a stretch to name 6, not 7 clearly defined here. If you’re trying to create a doctrine or trying to cram something into your theology you might look for 6. But if you read plainly, Jesus said what they were to John pretty clearly. To go in Isaiah and the Hebrew, the attributes mentioned are 1. (If you feel the need to number them) Wisdom & Understanding. 2. Counsel & Might. 3. Knowledge & The fear of the Lord. People divide them in English. It’s all contrived and people are trying to pigeonhole God. So silly.

You can’t say the 7 spirits of God is like the trinity then use words like “expressions.” That’s called modalism. The 7 spirits of God are one and different. Receiving the Holy Spirit gives all 7 but all 7 are not without measure. A member of the body can be heavily anointed in one but have the standard seed of another. I’m no heresy hunter. I think you just need to pray and study for Holy Spirit to help you reword this teaching.

Trinity ; Three part harmony,,, Spirit - Father - Son - Spirit Soul - Son - Bride - Water Body - H. S. - Body - Blood Father on throne in heaven, One with our Spirit. Son - God in us in the mind of Christ. Holy Spirit - God on earth to perform the Word in us and through us. Where we see the names of God as a she in the bible is mind of Christ stuff. The Son subject to the Father as the Bride is subject to the Son as the Soul is subject to the Spirit. The Son of God teaching is all about maturity in Christ, it has nothing to do with gender. One With Father ? A wheel within a Wheel ? The Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit agree in One in heaven as the Spirit the Water and the Blood agree in One in the earth. Water here is the soul washed by the water of the Word to Enter the kingdom. Mind of Christ installed to enter the kingdom. A wheel in motion ; Cycle of prayer ? The Eagle / Spirit in you soars into Yahweh's presence to get the Word and returns, Enters His gates with thanksgiving, Enters His court with praise and returns with the Word. The Ox, servant, doesn't talk, just pumps out the Water, Spiritual Tsunami, Prays behind the scenes. The Lion consumes all opposition to the Truth as you go . Isaiah 54-17. The Man face ministers Life after their attitude adjustment. Keep that prayer wheel turning. Ain't that how You do it ? The Christ in You has seven Spirits, as He is so are we in this present world. Through being a servant we can walk into the fullness of the Godhead bodily within the fullness of the Godhead becoming this wheel within a Wheel.

The seven spirits are not the Holy Spirit. They are spirits that sit BEFORE the throne...not on the throne. Their purpose is to bring sons into maturity.
