Can a sweet little cat be dangerous?
The answer is yes. Cats are responsible for killing millions of creatures every year - mostly birds and small mammals but also reptiles, amphibians (all of those are legally protected in Poland) and invertebrates.
Besides that Domestic cats (Felis catus) are known to hybridize with European wildcats (Felis silvestris) and this is one of the reasons for the vanishing of this species.
It is recommended to reduce the amount of time your cat is left free outside of your home - especially during bird breeding season. And to sterilize them before letting them go.
