Love amethyst! Love your "pro-tip" as well: better saw blades, better and smoother cuts. Mind blown, i thought cheap blades would give better results 😂😮😅😊. Great work 👏 brother!

I use the same pads but in a different manner. I use an angle grinder propped up in a 5 gallon bucket. I cut a slot in the side for the handle and have the side handle on it as well. Pit it just low enough into the bucket, so it acts as a splash guard. Pretty much acts as a flat lap. Have gotten really good results that way. The benefit of the angle grinder is the higher rpms.

You are very right with regards to the quality of cut being time saver. I cut on tile saw and spent hours grinding down to flat surface.

Yep. Tile saws are rough in rocks but are good starter tools

There was tons of this right were I use to live in Halifax wish I had of got some at the time but they were to big to bike home with haha

Yes i heard there were huge boulders the size of cars when they first uncovered it

I use a 6 inch random orbit air sander, do you think the random orbit would do better or worse than a simple spinner? I know with wood or body fill the difference between random/circular is that you can use much more coarse sandpaper with the random and get superb smooth results compared to a circular…just curious
