as a builder using blender has HELPED incredibly with speeding up builds and making me own assets for interiors and just made my builds look 10x better and less laggy

There’s actually a plug-in called beveler, and it actually saves a lot of time. I’m currently making a game without blender, but it still looks cool in my opinion. I find block-based builds a little more appealing than blender/low poly/etc style builds. That’s just me though.

All you have to do Is Ctrl + D, move it where you want it, Ctrl + Shift + N the thing to negate it, then Ctrl + Shift + G to union it on Roblox studio.

If you are a modeler or a Animator you should consider using this if you are thinking of making a low poly or just generally use free models it isn't really necessary, Overall do use it.

You can make a model in roblox studio by mixing models in toolbox or making your own by doing many parts.

As a scripter with next to no building skills, ever since I've learnt blender I've been able to make some cool looking builds from just knowing the bare basics. Just take 30 minutes a day and learn it, you'll thank me.

for the modelers,animators...: You can learn maya,3ds max(modelers),zbrush... and blender as well a lot of well known modelers dont know blender or dont know it good for example:Marco Plouffe

1:50 It may look cleaner, but if you import it into Roblox, it will triangulate the model then it'll look basically the same as Roblox's union mesh. (You noticed this at 1:55.) It's better to make more complex unions in Blender instead of Roblox Studio, though, because you can optimize the meshes and make them lower-poly where it's needed.

I don't know coding i am using Unreal Engine 5 most because it has blueprints but Roblox Studio is very good too it is very simple and you can make so many ideas with Roblox Studio too My Opinion to Game Engines: 1: Roblox Studio ( It is Simple and easy to make Games ) 2: Unreal Engine ( it has blueprints but also supports coding simple too but a bit harder ) 3: Godot ( It is not too hard to create games but i use it mostly for 2D ) 4: Unity ( I don't understand coding and Unity only has scripting language what ive seen ) 5: Blender ( I don't know how to even do something here it is hard ) But if you know scripting try yourself try making good games and have fun :)

I think the part that is scary to me is when Roblox moderation keeps on banning ppl for uploading simple blender items due to how they name the items. I have heard so many scary stories of this subject. Can you please advice us on the best way to name an objects before you upload the items to Roblox studio.

Blender users python as it's language as roblox users lua and blender did have a game egine thing where you could make games in blender but they removed that and the scripting can be used to make blender add-ons

you can do alot without blender but if you plan to do commissions for building you 100% need to learn it

Realistically if you want a chance at becoming a successful roblox developer then Blender will make it a lot easier. However there are developers such as packstabber who are very successful and cannot 3d model, that being said the successful developers I do know who can't model pay other people to make models for them PS Robuilder: Roblox automatically turns everything into tris, even if you upload a mesh, it's turned into tris.

Be sure to use it correctly or else you would accidently activated blender chaos

Blender is a really useful tool for every type of game, so if you ever switch off roblox developing to another game you wont start from scratch.

You dont need blender if your not trying to make a cool game. You can just grab stuff from the Marketplace or whatever its called, BUT, If you wanna Make futuristic stuff, houses, or like those cool VFX in Blox Fruits, and turrets and stuff, Blender is a need, I dont think theres any Modern Popular Roblox game since 2020 doesn’t use blender to make 3D models, its just impossible to not use Blender if you wanna make a cool Roblox Game.

I miss using Blender. I already lost about 4 months of development time due to the family pc being broken. Already getting pc parts. 😭

It depends on your skill. If you don't want to know the modifiers, vertex groups, edges and other stuff then you can just use parts, cylinders and other stuff. They will both look good, just use what you prefer. I as a scripter use blender because i am not that good at modeling with unions and blender is more comfortable for me
