Our journey into wild/feral hog hunting started like many others living in rural communities. We didn't start hog hunting for fun or sport... we did it because we had to. You see, hogs cause millions of dollars of damage and destruction each year in rural communities and our situation was no different. Hogs were destroying our land and that our of friends and family. The vast majority of hunting stories that you hear about on this channel are hogs, boars and sows, taken from family land... this problem is personal for us...

Coyotes and Predators, similar to hogs, cause financial stress for many families in rural communities. Coyotes kill livestock, plain and simple. Ranchers have battled coyotes killing cattle since the early days of ranching and it costs them dearly. Cattle ranching is a business, the cows aren't pets, every time they lose a calf to a coyote those families lose a paycheck. Cattle ranchers hate coyotes just as much as Farmers hate hogs! We hunt coyotes to protect the livelihood of our friends and neighbors that depend on their cattle business to feed their family...

Great overview of the unit! Really like how you went over the stuff you didn’t care for as well as what you liked about it. How does the neith compare to the agm spectrum ir scope? Having trouble finding info on it to compare the two scopes.

How much does the focusing bezel rotate? maybe a throw lever would work if you don't have to rotate it past 180 degrees.

I have the pulsar c50 and my favorite part is how much light it picks up with no IR light on, versus my sightmark 4k which is near dead in the water without a light on. When I use a light it is a 950 which is less visible. I get that this is cheaper than the puslsar, but any comparisons to the c50?

I’m really liking mine. Got a fox with it the other night. Only thing I don’t like is the little rubber cap that covers the IR light is missing. You guys shipped it with one but I lost it already lol. Maybe AGM will be kind and send me a replacement.

Curious does it have one shot zero type set up and how many different rifle profiles can you have and can they be named like the old wraith HD instead of 1,2,3,4 etc. I've been thinking of replacing my 4k max with this 🤷🏻‍♂️

From what I read in the manual it seems like it is possible, maybe they seem to overcomplicate The wraith is simple push one shot 0 just curious on your thoughts if I should be able to transition from one to the other pretty easily also no mention of a sd card? Can you set parameters for zoom to different increments or is it preset? Your review is great by the way! It's just such a new unit not a ton of info and usage on it yet.

with an aftermarket iR light about how far will it be able to give the range of the target? still only about 100 yards or better?

Yes with an aftermarket light you will be able to see further 👍🏻

FYI, AGM says that you can charge the battery while in the optic. At least their director of marketing said it on their youtube channel.

Is the Frame Rate actually 25 Hz as described on AGM's website?? What's odd is that they describe the Display as 50FPS, but, again, the Frame Rate as 25Hz. Which is it?

Im sure you can but going to ask anyway. If your using a external IR light can you turn the one in the unit off or does it stay on when in night mode.

What IR light would you recommend for 200-300 yards?

I use a Wicked 402zf its older light but its good to 300+ ID and see eyes easily 600+. I also have a Sniper 38LRX its good to 200 ID and farther just to see eyes. If size doesn’t matter go with the 66LRX if its a little big for you then the 50LRX will probably work fine. Or try Wicked Lights they make really good lights as well great CS also.

I've been torn between this one and the Pulsar Digex C50. I need something that works in pretty cold temps, preferably down to sub-zero temperatures, and there aren't many options. I'm leaning towards the AGM Neith because the Pulsar is so expensive and I figure I could put the extra money towards getting a new model down the road when everything is even better.

I'm thinking the same thing. Use an external battery and keep it inside your jacket would be the best solution to keep the battery warm---or secure a hand warmer to the scope where the battery resides.

I just downloaded the firmware update and I regret it !!!! It changes everything.... the factory firmware needed a couple things fixed and added but the whole interface wasn't needed.... It adds a couple moves to get to where you were going in the old firmware... plus it looks like an intern designed it.... I've got 2 Neith's and I wished I'd have not put the update on either one... very frustrating

This review made me buy one. Muchas gracias. I should get it today from RSR (seven & qtr shipped). I am no hunter. This is for primary castle defense PS-90. I live in a commie state. I want a documentation of the reason why I squeezed the trigger. With this and the 5.7, I can extend my perimeter out if need be. The 2.5X does not bother me. I don't intend to do CQB inside my own castle. I will ready and that magnification limitation or latency or whatever... well, anyone can train around that. Ciao...

Batteries make no difference we all run portable power banks. An LRF would of been nice

I prefer NO light, give us the LRF, most included lights are junk anyhow and we all buy aftermarket lights
